Still no EXACT MNIST Batch Norm CNN Trainer app listed here. It's been out a week. Ran 376 tasks for the app (over 500h)...

Bitcoin Utopia has finished Campaign #15; American Cancer Society - Part 2.
Work production stopped 2days ago and dried up yesterday. Some tasks are still in progress. The campaign raised ~$1000.

Deprecated apps will be:
cgminer (Campaign #15) (for 1.6+GH/s ASICs)
bfgminer (Campaign #15) (for 20+GH/s Blade erupter ASICs)
cgminer (Campaign #15) (for 333MH/s ASICs)
cgminer (Campaign #15) (for 20+GH/s ASICs)
(Campaign #15) (for 1+TH/s ASICs)

cpdnboinc Weather At Home 2 (wah2) 10,270.13 10,270.13
cpdnboinc UK Met Office HadAM3P-HadRM3P Pacific North West 4,089.85 4,089.85
cpdnboinc UK Met Office HadCM3 short 3,190.80 3,190.80
cpdnboinc Weather At Home 2 (wah2) (region independent) 226.45 226.45

Why?

And now I have new hours on climateprediction (the correct one) plus all these old hours under the incorrect one. I note that ALL the cpdnboinc hours are 'red', indicating over-30-days, even hours earned yesterday.

Hope this isn't like vlhcathome-dev where a month later I was still dragging around all the obsolete named apps... although this seems to have been fixed just as the cpdnboinc thing showed up!

All of the CPDN applications where the project name had changed to cpdnboinc have now reverted back to climateprediction.net, with the hours being correctly accumulated:

climateprediction.net Weather At Home 2 (wah2) 21,758.63 21,655.82
climateprediction.net UK Met Office HadAM3P-HadRM3P Pacific North West 6,727.27 6,727.27
climateprediction.net UK Met Office HadCM3 short 2,161.50 2,161.50
climateprediction.net Weather At Home 2 (wah2) (region independent) 145.12 145.12

Grid computing center has 4 NCI apps, and 4 CPU apps. Only work for the NCI apps, as far as I can tell. Anyway, the v1 NCI app is being recorded as the v1 CPU app. This needs to be corrected.

Monkeys v4 (NCI) - Seeker/Word seed
Monkeys v3 (NCI) - Generator/Word seed
Monkeys v2 (NCI) - Seeker/1 seed
Monkeys v1 (NCI) - Seeker/1 seed <--- This one...

Monkeys v4 - Seeker/Word seed
Monkeys v3 - Generator/Word seed
Monkeys v2 - Seeker/1 seed
Monkeys v1 - Generator/1 seed <--- is being recorded as this one by mistake

Zombie, you have mislead the admin.
The problem has nothing to do with the CPU tasks.

monkeys_v1 application was erroneously divided into two parts with and without a prefix (NCI)
(With a prefix - only for one version for android, without a prefix - for all other OS)
Now they have been moved from place to place, in "active24" they are both.
And you just need to combine them into one application.

If a miracle happens and the CPU application starts
Then they will have a short name monkeys_v1_cpu and they will be displayed in statistics with a prefix (CPU)
Perhaps then they even merge with project GoofyxGrid@Home CPU (monkeys_v2_cpu apps)
But this is not necessary - some people will not want to lose a star ;o)

Noticed I'm at least one app further away from a couple of star changes, so something was merged/removed. Don't think this is due to the gcc nci apps (that happened a couple of days ago & I don't think I had the one/two apps in question). However, I have hours listed for MindModeling in the last 24h, from deprecated apps (that I have not run recently):

    MindModeling@Beta Native [R] v2.15.1 Application 1,814.28 1,814.28
    MindModeling@Beta Native Python v2.7 Application 2,083.10 1,067.58

The v2.7 app looks like another MM app was merged with it, hence the 1Kh since yesterday but 2Kh in total.
It makes sense for me to run 2 different apps to 1000h, but merging them just removes one 1Kh app without creating a 2.5Kh app (would have happened if the 2.5Kh star was a 2.0Kh star).
So it looks like I've lost one 1Kh app, but at least I haven't lost a star/badge...

I lost 2 app stars, due to this, so again I need 6 more apps to reach 15 stars, instead of 4.

Will just have to work a bit harder to find another 2 applications.

They were correct:

It now reports as:
Grid computing center Monkeys v1 (NCI) - Generator/1 seed

It was showing:
Grid computing center Monkeys v1 - Generator/1 seed

New apps Einstein@Home w/o "Tuning"

(Hi >1Gb RAM, Lo 145Mb)

https://einsteinathome.org/goto/comment/158643

Indeed we are moving to the "O1Spot production mode run", which is targeted to run a couple of months. I'll post an announcement soon.

For the "tuning" run we produced more workunits than what was needed, so I stopped sending that work for now until I could purge the superfluous tasks from the DB. Then I will enable "O1Spot1TLo" again to correctly finish the workunits that were already being processed.

Continuous Gravitational Wave search Galactic Center highFreq
Continuous Gravitational Wave search Galactic Center lowFreq

Announcement

After performing the last "tuning", today we started the new search for Continuous Gravitational Waves from the Galactic Center ("O1Spot1"). The first workunits were generated and the first tasks are being sent. As we already did in the "tuning" run, the work is split into a "high" and a "low" frequency part, the former being processed by the rather fast (CPU) hosts, the latter by the slower ones. This search is set up to run for a couple of months.

They had opened the Low Freq tuning app to higher frequency computers later on. Maybe they will do the same for non-tuning app. Or down clock/edit BOINC files to get make it think you have a lot freq computer.

Use VM, specify not only the number of processors, but also the frequency and model of the processor (for SCVMM - Hardware Configuration/CPU)
