What's up with GoofyxGrid@Home? I thought it was all moved/combined with "Grid computing center"? But now activity is showing up under GoofyxGrid@Home again. Should I go back, or will that be wasted effort?

The GoofyxGrid upload and download servers are still running, so someone most likely started up a system that hasn't been on for a while. The other GoofyxGrid servers are all down and it's not sending out new work.

Only 4 tasks have been returned:

Amicable Numbers

The search up to 2^64 is complete!

So the Amicable Numbers up to 2^64 app retired (and disappeared).

New app on Sourcefinder/duchamp:
Sofia Sourcefinder
It's a beta app and you need to opt in test apps in your account if you want to run it (and it's a VBox-app).

And a new app over on yoyo@Home went to life:
Perfect Cuboids
Looks like this is also still a test app (which needs the allowance of the user to run).

Edit:
Oops, sorry, looks like this already appeared in the new/intermittent apps-thread. ;-)

Don't see this mentioned -" Enigma GPU - Test Version" continues, but there is also now "Enigma GPU".

My hours on the test version are showing up, but not my hours on the 'non-test' one.

Mine show up as
Enigma Cuda
Enigma GPU - Test version

The Test version was the ATI app that now looks to have ended with the merging of apps under Cuda.

http://www.enigmaathome.net/forum_thread.php?id=1067&postid=6055#6055

The plan for this weekend is that 1.03 OpenCL Windows app will be moved from Enigma Test and merged with CUDA app as Enigma GPU.
CUDA & OpenCL Linux v1.00 apps will be added to Enigma Test, just to verify that they're working.

I'm seeing app name "Enigma GPU" on AMD boxes, but it does look like it is showing as Enigma Cuda here, where before Enigma Cuda was Nvidia only. <shrug> As long as the hours go somewhere! Don't care what it's called! :-)

The Rake Search project:
http://82.196.66.12:12179/rakesearch/

Doesn't work/exist.

IMO Any unknown new projects that are port forwarded over non secure http should be treated with great suspicion.
Especially over a wireless broadband service (to a phone or mobile device) in Russia.
Rake in email addresses & search for passwords or legitimate science? You decide.

I have tasks. Kind of hard to get those if the site doesn't exist.
