If you still have problem with getting WUs for Gravitational Wave Engineering run on LIGO O1 Open Data, mmonnin at Einstein@Home's forum wrote how to get them. It works for me too, although I got more non-eng tasks:

Sometimes I've gotten apps not available as a selection by selecting CPU only, the Gamma-ray pulsar binary search #1 (GPU) app and then checking test apps. It didn't work this time so I allowed the Open Data app and Allow non-preferred apps. I got mostly the Engineering app, 32 of 33 tasks.

I think most of the tasks I get are still the other apps though but I do get some Engineering tasks.

Some news from Goofyxgrid. Goofy has been in hospital but hopes to get his project up and running soon. He has had another hardware failure so he needs to check out the damage before he can restart the project.

Pete

Tasks showed up on my machines last night but his website is still just a login to a router so can't wish him well there.

https://nci.goofyxgridathome.net/ used to work before and that's what is in my bookmarks.

My browser forces https:// on all sites. I have to manually enter non secure URLs.
http:// does work....

Sticky Post has a new project.

USPROTEINS@HOME
http://usproteins-at-home.ru/
Win7+, VBox Versions 5.1.12 – 5.1.18 or 5.1.22 - 5.1.26

It says " Choose Add Project and copy the URL-link of this page" at the home page but that won't connect for me.

Trying https://usproteins-at-home.ru/ gives a project temporarily down message. No forums, blank apps page.

Looks like USPEX is back under a new name. :-)

Yup, they got it wrong there.
I found the correct URL by going over "For Participants" and then "Your account".
URL shows http://usproteins-at-home.ru/usproteins/home.php
Take the home.php away and you got it. ;-)

Thomas Brada Experimental Grid has a new test app; PADLS TBtest

Linux only.

Also:

Credit will not be awarded during validation, but later during assimilation of the batch. Credit will be granted based on the number of Latin squares checked. If you do not agree with the experiment, the credit or the fact that your data is stored on my SD-Card, then please do not participate.

LHC@Home, Native Theory Application (TheoryN) Released

The Native Theory Application for Linux has moved out of Beta status and is now generally available. It is similar to the Native ATLAS application in that it requires CVMFS to be installed locally but does not require Singulariy as it uses Linux Containers (runc). To setup your machine for this application please follow the instructions.. Even if the Native ATLAS tasks are running successfully, follow the instructions to ensure that CVMFS is configured correctly for both and that Linux Containers are enabled. This is a new application (TheoryN) rather than an alternative version of the Theory application as they have different resources requirement. If there are any issues, please post them to the Theory messages board.

Seems like someone fired up a retired computer that still had unfinished Bitcoin Utopia WU's and no Bitcoin Utopia server to cancel the outdated WU's. The website is parked and up for sale.

I see campaigns 3, 7 and 13.

Bitcoin Utopia cgminer (Campaign #3) (for 20+GH/s ASICs) 0.00 99.93

Crunching for RakeSearch app from RakeSearch project is coming to the end - recently it passed 95%. If you need more hours for this app, this is last moment to get them.

This project soon will start crunching for new app, RakeSearch for rank 10. Current plan is to perform only part of search for rank 10 squares using it, so it will be short living app - I expect few weeks to few months, it is hard to tell how fast it will be.

Project has also plans to introduce other apps, however there are no details about them now.

I'm 2500 hours from 10k pink.

Late May and already 35C outside (breaking record averages for the month), the bedroom hitting 32C in daytime (sweating for science), thunderstorms rolling through every other day (not exaggerating, our rivers above flood stage the whole month) and the peak hours 31.5 cents/kwhour starting June 1... isn't looking likely.

WCG earlier released an initial limited run of Beta wu's for their new project.

Armstrdj mentioned;

I want to set everyone’s expectations appropriately for this beta test. Due to some issues and complexities with the software for this project, our internal development and testing time has been much longer than normal. Due to that, I anticipate a longer beta testing time than usual as well.

You can read the rest of his quite lengthy post at ; https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=610450

Hours for the beta tasks don't seem to be showing up at WUProp.

What is the app name? WCG has had several apps with 'beta' in the name over the years.

There is an active WCG app called "Beta" with 1 task completed in the past 24 hours according to the link on the WUProp home page.
