On several pcs, e.g. ID: 136192, I get the message "Not accepting requests from this host" and I don't get new wus.
I stopped crunshing XANSONS for about two weeks; now I wanted to continue and get the error message.

Yup...

Adding most clients actually increased production quite a bit for a project I was working on. RAC kept climbing and mine got banned.

The thread you mentioned doesn't apply to my problem, because I don't run more clients than cores I have on any of my pcs.

Yeah it appears that if none of the projects on a host are providing work and only is WUprop running then after a while the host gets banned.

I guess hosts that only run projects with intermittent work are no longer welcome.

Have several Boxs now that WuProp won't send work to with the "Not accepting requests from this host" Message ???

15876 WUProp@Home 12/14/2017 5:00:44 AM Not accepting requests from this host
41008 WUProp@Home 12/14/2017 5:03:34 AM Not accepting requests from this host
9767 WUProp@Home 12/14/2017 5:27:20 AM Not accepting requests from this host

Also some Boxes now the WuProp Wu will just sit there with a Waiting to run Message if any other Project is running, if I shut down all other Projects then the WuProp Wu will start running again until I re-start the other Project/Projects then will stop again.

On these hosts, you ran 2 client instances with not nci apps. Getting 380 hours for cpu apps on a 8 threads host is unfair. So I banned an instance.

Then ban the client that is running not running an RNA task that takes 1/2 year plus to complete. Host 122459 instead of host 131000, please.

Host 122461 is the only one running on that computer and it was banned. Please unban.

I'm also getting this Message on 2 vBox-Clients. Except from WUprop I'm running WCG on them. Constantly.

Why have they been banned?

Host ID's are 80849 and 129260.

What is wrong here Sebastien?

Do you want us to leave WUprop? Then just tell us.

Because he's working alone on this project and he has no time to worry about guys who fight about what 8 inches means... sorry guys who want more stars than an old soviet general and forget about all the great technical information that this project can provide?

Small reminder

The aim of Boinc is to provide computer time to scientists.

The aim of this project is to compile technical information on Boinc projects to help the Boinc community.

People who constantly tests the limits of the rules and complaints are just an annoyance for the whole community and the one who is running this project.

Please think at the real purpose not at stars.

Regards,

William
