Well well, I don't know whom to thank for the honorary upgrade to 16 stars, but in reality I only have 319 apps and therefore I will still have to earn my 16th star. :-)

Discrepancy between WUprop and Free-DC stats, lost application

280 LHC@home Theory Simulations 64 bit 146,67

Probably the badge has not yet been updated
Or the application is in the statistics, but just does not appear on the page

Are you aware of any news about BOINC integration with projects like nanoHUB or TACC?
(in the sense of connecting and crunching something new)

I ran GPU app for about 6 hours, and WUProp recorded only 0.53 hour.

Check WUprop error log - "facteur correction: 0.533333 (8/15.100000)"
You have exceeded the number of CPU threads by almost twice.
View configurations for all active tasks
for example XaNSoNS BOINC for GPU - 0.975C + 1NV

<avg_ncpus>1</avg_ncpus>

This is misleading the BOINC task manager, and at the same time WUprop
The task should be limited to something similar to "<cmdline> --nthreads 1.000000 </cmdline>"

So as not to lose hours and minutes - recalculate the CPU requirements for all tasks (in app_config) so that they do not exceed the actual value by more than 0.99 (8/8.99 = 1.0)

lhcathome-dev ATLAS Simulation

This is not a native application for Linux
But the old application (vbox64_mt_mcore_atlas) as on the main server LHC

I don't have an old PC ... :P

Use VM, specify not only the number of processors, but also the frequency and model of the processor (for SCVMM - Hardware Configuration/CPU)

New apps Einstein@Home w/o "Tuning"

(Hi >1Gb RAM, Lo 145Mb)

Continuous Gravitational Wave search Galactic Center highFreq
Continuous Gravitational Wave search Galactic Center lowFreq

Announcement

After performing the last "tuning", today we started the new search for Continuous Gravitational Waves from the Galactic Center ("O1Spot1"). The first workunits were generated and the first tasks are being sent. As we already did in the "tuning" run, the work is split into a "high" and a "low" frequency part, the former being processed by the rather fast (CPU) hosts, the latter by the slower ones. This search is set up to run for a couple of months.

Indeed we are moving to the "O1Spot production mode run", which is targeted to run a couple of months. I'll post an announcement soon.

For the "tuning" run we produced more workunits than what was needed, so I stopped sending that work for now until I could purge the superfluous tasks from the DB. Then I will enable "O1Spot1TLo" again to correctly finish the workunits that were already being processed.

Only getting high freq now ...

Use old PCs to get low tasks

Grid computing center has 4 NCI apps, and 4 CPU apps. Only work for the NCI apps, as far as I can tell. Anyway, the v1 NCI app is being recorded as the v1 CPU app. This needs to be corrected.

Zombie, you have mislead the admin.
The problem has nothing to do with the CPU tasks.

monkeys_v1 application was erroneously divided into two parts with and without a prefix (NCI)
(With a prefix - only for one version for android, without a prefix - for all other OS)
Now they have been moved from place to place, in "active24" they are both.
And you just need to combine them into one application.

If a miracle happens and the CPU application starts
Then they will have a short name monkeys_v1_cpu and they will be displayed in statistics with a prefix (CPU)
Perhaps then they even merge with project GoofyxGrid@Home CPU (monkeys_v2_cpu apps)
But this is not necessary - some people will not want to lose a star ;o)

How do you Use separate BOINC instance for monkeys NCI?????

--- edit --- and how will that work for the BoincTasks monitering program??

GCC forum - http://boinc.gridcomputingcenter.org/forum_thread.php?id=205&postid=1758

Add --allow_remote_gui_rpc in command line - for "remote" control

Or same options to cc_config:
<allow_multiple_clients>1</allow_multiple_clients>
<allow_remote_gui_rpc>1</allow_remote_gui_rpc>

Or add 127.0.0.1 to remote_hosts.cfg

Use 127.0.0.1:9999 for boinc manager
Add new comp in BoincTask and set 127.0.0.1 to ip & 9999 to port

On GCC pref set only NCI apps for 2nd instance & only CPU apps for "old" host (1st instance)
