Hmm not any more. Just the 1 app with 32/64 bit for Windows and Linux.

Don't know where you are looking.... The app page CLEARLY SHOWS 32 & 64 bit WINDOWS APPS:
Microsoft Windows (98 or later) running on an Intel x86-compatible CPU 1.03 8 Nov 2021, 14:32:50 UTC 9 GigaFLOPS

Microsoft Windows running on an AMD x86_64 or Intel EM64T CPU 1.03 8 Nov 2021, 14:32:46 UTC 7 GigaFLOPS

My Windows PC's have received a mix of both 32 & 64 bit apps so far.

Reread what I said.
Just the 1 app with 32/64 bit for Windows and Linux.

There is no separate app just for windows.
Those are platforms of the SAME app.

My windows pc is getting 64 bit iThena Graph apps

I don't seem to be getting the proper credit for the hours for the iThena.Computational 1.03 iThena GRAPH Wu's. I should have close to or over 100 Hr's showing already but only have 8.12 Hr's showing ...

600 iThena.Computational iThena GRAPH 8.12 8.12

Same here. I received hours for a day or two, and then the total stopped going up.

All 3 of my iThena listings went up today:

iThena.Computational iThena GRAPH 148.53 62.60
iThena.Measurements iThena OONI Probe 732.12
iThena.Measurements iThena PERF 8,800.15

I am running the new Graph ones on a quad core I7 4 units at a time 24/7 so yes the numbers for it are a bit light.

Looks like the projects were renamed and iThena Computational Graph app has been added.

Yup I got mine too, THANK YOU to whoever did it!!!

iThena changed to iThena.Measurements and now I am not getting any hours posted for my active machines.

Same for me on the "PERF" (windows) app.

Let's hope it does not spawn NEW project & app entries in our lists for the NCI's; just a rename of the respective NCIS.

Any new hours should be adding on to what's already crunched after the rename since it only changed names, not what is computing.

I agree but someone needs to figure out how to get us our hours.

I exchanged email with the admin. He hopes to turn on stats export in a couple of weeks.

FWIW, I am still having the 403 error when I try to run more than two tasks at a time.

I'm now out of them but I was running 4 at a time with no problems...that's strange

[(snip ...)So is German 'similar' enough to Norwegian that at least some words are similar?

Yes. Many words are spelled and sound close enough that it made German class quite easy. Most of the Scandinavian languages are branches of the German language.

That's pretty cool, I have saved the link!!

(snip ...)And that's why I took a year of Spanish, it's REAL REALLY easy, and then joined the Navy as a firefighter, plumber, carpenter and welder. ...

Don't get me wrong I learned a ton of stuff and was able to have a good career as a Fire fighter for a City in Virginia, USA and retire from that with enough money to never have to work again. ...

First off THANK YOU mikey for your many years of service in the US Navy and also as city Fire Fighter! BOTH TOUGH JOBS that do not get the recognition and support they so deserve.

Learning German in HS was fairly easy for me. I already had many years to learn to read, write and speak Norwegian (almost) fluently by being around my grandparents, great-grandparents, other relatives and friends of the extended family that originally came from "the old country" who taught me the language.

Thank you! So is German 'similar' enough to Norwegian that at least some words are similar?

After running slightly more than 1.2 Million hours of WuProp, overnight I managed to move my first star to the Magenta (20,000 hours) status.

Upward and onward towards my goal of pushing all active apps to at least 5,000 hours.

WOO HOO!!!

You are correct...after you posted I put "kein Ende in Sicht" into google translate and it came out "no end in sight"!! I thought it meant the 'end is in sight' but was wrong in my assumption!!

mikey, that's okay, we forgive you. :)
I still remember my High School German teacher on the first day of class saying to us: "The English language verb/noun placement is considered backwards to most other languages".

And that's why I took a year of Spanish, it's REAL REALLY easy, and then joined the Navy as a firefighter, plumber, carpenter and welder. Yes I put firefighter first because it's true every Sailor can help but on some people are on the front end of the hose, which in turn led to me being a Fire Fighter for my post Military career. After 6 years I had had enough of hanging off the side of ship in an itty bitty chair with only a 'safety rope' around my waist while steaming along at 15 knots welding safety nets back on so we can give more ships supplies in 2 days. Or even hand cleaning the inside of fuel tanks so they can be welded shut after something ran into us. I was also stationed in Holy Loch, Scotland where we dry docked submarines to repaint then, they were, in the mid 70's, 7 layers of paint thick and ALL of it rolled like you would the walls and ceilings in your home...subs are damn HUGE!!! A very little tiny bit of the sub IS spray painted but it's no bigger than a sheet of plywood and where the sonar stuff is so they have less 'stuff' to get thru. Being a welder in a place that rains EVERY DAY is tough and full of 'shocks' as you try to keep the metal grates you walk on stuck to a metal deck that is 2+ inches underwater!!!

Don't get me wrong I learned a ton of stuff and was able to have a good career as a Fire fighter for a City in Virginia, USA and retire from that with enough money to never have to work again. Working thru the 70's, 80's 90's and early 2000's meant I was to get into investing early and often and the occasional 17% raises helped ALOT!!!

So if you need some ecm or Siever tasks to reach a new badge you better get busy

Doesn't it mean the opposite?

I see currently no end in further demands for sieving and trial factorizations. There are many many math projects which have needs for sieving and factorizations
.

I have a twitter account and am following the Rechenkraft Team on it and they posted this:

OGR-28: 89%
M-Queens: ca. 56%
Siever & ECM: kein Ende in Sicht

So if you need some ecm or Siever tasks to reach a new badge you better get busy. Good News is they have lots of both right now:

It is possible to use an app_info.xml to get only certain tasks by allowing only a specific app. You have to have the app already downloaded, and any associated files.

Don't ask me how. I am no good at writing app_info.xml at all.

I thought I had seen that a long time ago but also don't know how

FWIW, I forwarded to the admin the 403 issue, and gave him pointers to this thread. Perhaps it will be fixed when we get more tasks. We'll see, I guess.

It must have worked because my laptop got a boatload of them last night

I'm good. I think nearly all my 261 pending have zombie as wingman.

Tasks ran out yesterday. Only thing left are timeouts/resends.

I got a few tasks overnight and this morning am over my 100 hours minimum. WOO HOO!!

As for getting or sending tasks back I've had no problems at all, now I didn't sit there and watch it all day long but everytime I went into the room it's in it was doing just fine. I'm running the latest version of Linux Mint with 16gb of ram and the cpu is an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2520M CPU @ 2.50GHz with 4 cores, I'm using all 4 cores to crunch along with wuprop and Ithena and it just works.

Right now it is running out of work though.

I just did an update and got a new task, the Server Status page says 344 tasks available.

Anybody have a script I can use for the Python Wu's. I have 1 box that will only run 1 Python Wu & nothing else but I'm not getting credit for it using 8 cores if that's what it's doing. It has 32gb of memory so it should be able to run other projects too while running the 1 Python Wu IMO ...

I ran 2 Python units at a time on an I7 with 22gb of ram, only using 1 core each 2 cores total, and didn't have any problems. I used an app_config.xml file to limit the number of Rosetta tasks running at one time.

<app_config>
<project_max_concurrent>2</project_max_concurrent>
</app_config>

I then also ran 1 WCG Africa rainfall task at the same time, as on the Mac they take nearly 5gb of ram by themselves.

I got some tasks to download. But other tasks "transient HTTP error".

I got some too on my Linux laptop, they are Linux only, and they are taking about 2+ hours each according to the initial estimates

At least Rosetta doesn't seem to have a penalty for failed/aborted tasks. The rosetta app used to always run for 6hr and abort on my ryzen system. Duration was set to 1hr and the mini rosetta tasks ran fine. So the rosetta tasks were aborted. If the project can't add an app selection to project preferences then that's what they get. That seems like a simpler implementation than a task duration.

I'd probably run some python tasks as well for hours but I can't get just those.

I just kept aborting tasks until I got some, on my systems they are projected to only last for about 6 hours each but I have 2 running right now that are over 30 hours!! Each task reserves 8gb of ram so on my laptop with only 16gb of ram I only run 1 at a time but on my MacPro with 24gb of ram I run 2 at a time. The laptop is Windows and the tasks are taking between 8k and 16k seconds each, the MacPro is old and the I7 cpu is not nearly as fast.
