BOINCSIMAP hmmer application appeared on the reported data list; 2Â½ days late.

On the page 'Active projects last 24 hours' the total number of workunits count of the hmmer's is 3. It must be hundreds at least.

So if I understand this badge thingy correctly I need 100 hours each on 20 projects to get a badge?

To be more precise: Not 20 projects, but 20 different applications.

What criteria is used to establish different applications, and is this transient?

I suppose that the <user_friendly_name> used in the app-part of client_state.xml is determining the different applications for data to report.
Maybe that name is the same for A and B malaria simulators. You may have a look into (a copy of) the client_state.xml file.
