Another month without an answer from the admin. :-(
2) Message boards : Number crunching : not accepting requests from this host (Message 5626)

On several pcs, e.g. ID: 136192, I get the message "Not accepting requests from this host" and I don't get new wus.
I stopped crunshing XANSONS for about two weeks; now I wanted to continue and get the error message.

Yup...

Adding most clients actually increased production quite a bit for a project I was working on. RAC kept climbing and mine got banned.

The thread you mentioned doesn't apply to my problem, because I don't run more clients than cores I have on any of my pcs.

Hello Sebastien,

1 month since I started this thread, but no correction of the lost hours (7293.62) at QCN Continual.

Sebastien, could you please correct the lost hours?

Unfortunately the one system on my list without a sensor was given away a long time ago but allowed to leave BOINC on it. However, those projects were manually added a very long time ago and unable to be pulled with BAM!. So, are you saying that host was responsible for the loss of 20k hours on both those QCN projects?

QCN News says that they have temporary data problems and I was thinking that the project is responsible for the loss.
Just at this moment I registered the new 'Hosts running nci apps w/o sensor'-list .
So I would appreciate a statement from Sebastien about this coincidence.

I fixed a problem on the page. Some valid hosts were wrongly displayed.

I also added a button for validating host wronly detected as invalid.

Thanks, my list is empty now.

My list is empty now, too.
But what's the matter with the lost hours at QCN Continual?

There's a new list in the stats:

Hosts running nci apps w/o sensor

Both machines I run with QCN sensors are listed there.
Can someone explain??

My QCN Continual hours were reduced by 7294 hours - database error?

See this thread:

Wrong thread - I'm running 2 (real) sensors.

No answer from the project for more than a month? :-(

Hi Sebastien,

could you please merge the Monkey-wus of GoofyxGrid@Home and GridComputingCenter.

Thanks in advance

@Sebastien: Any idea?

@Conan: You're right, there was a split in the stats. I merged the computers and now the machine number is #99819 and this machine gets the daily credits.
But in this case it's even more incomprehensible that the counted hours don't match the really crunshed hours.

My credits: 36,202,800,000
equal to 15,084.5 wus
25 min/wu: 6,285 hours

But only 4,851 hours at WUProp.

When I restarted crunshing (at 25,000,000,000 cr) the campaign was between 4,300 and 4,900 hours like all my other campaigns.
Please have a look at my stats.

Addition:
Machine #81978 which runs BU doesn't seem to get credits, but wuprop seems to run correct (6 hours/wu) and last 24 hours shows 96 hours for the campaign.

All machines get computing error directly after starting. Logfile says "output file absent".

2 Raspis installed from the same image:

#76909: Running 2 WUs BU - 3 hours

#78265: Running 8 WUs BU - 50-100 hours

I don't believe that the amount of wus is the problem...???

WU is now running for 100+ hours. Should I abort the WU?
stderr.txt shows about 50 times '(2407) Nombre de GPU non conforme: 0' ???

20) Message boards : Number crunching : More Stars ??? (Message 1416)
Posted 25 Jul 2013 by Roadranner
Extending the number of stars to 180 will force people to crunch more alpha- and beta-projects. Because most of my machines are productive, it's not a good idea to run projects which are (sometimes) unstable and might cause problems.

With the ability to run about 50 threads I'm somewhere in the middle between powercrunchers like STEVE and the majority running 1 or 2 hosts.
For 250,000h x 100 I would have to wait for my 103. birthday to get a full pull.
And I think you don't have to animate people like STEVE and me, because we're already hooked on crunching. ;-)

I would prefer to extend hours to 10,000 and 25,000. This can easily be done with two more colors (e.g. black, mint, neon, etc.).

In a few years you can proof, if you need to adjust the badges again to fit the state of technology.
