I see from looking at your apps list, WUprops is not going to count the beta version as a separate app, so we're just getting a head start on the WU's.

That’s correct. Turning the beta flag on or off doesn’t make it a different app. However, the word “engineering” probably does. These tasks are not real data from the third observation series. When we start processing real data, the app name will probably change, and I suspect that might count as a separate app.

Yup, E@H has done that in the past.

Einstein@Home Gravitational Wave All-sky search on LIGO O1 Open Data
Einstein@Home Gravitational Wave Engineering run on LIGO O1 Open Data

So we better start banging them out if we want our 100 hours

Initial ETA is very low so you'll get plenty of work. Even at a queue of 0.2 days I downloaded over 23 days worth now that ETAs have adjusted.

Much slower, more CPU util for AMD cards.

These use 99% CPU core so should be easy.

My 280x runs other WU's fine but times out at 33xxx seconds on these.
I should save 4 AMD WU's just in case.

Or just d/l 7 days worth NVidia.

BTW, if you are not getting NVidia WU's; these WU's require OpenCL (they refused to d/l; the server log mentioned OpenCL) which, according to NVidia, only available from driver 465 and later. (After being a tech for 30 years; noticed that companies tend to introduce problems with drivers 3 years newer than your video card. They are in the business of selling you new cards. I wasn't planning on going too much newer on the 1060 than driver 434; this addition of OpenCL and update to driver 466 sees to have gone fine though.)

I have the new E@H GPU app running on NV driver versions 391, 396, 440 and 450. OpenCL has been an E@H requirement for several years.

Anyone know what is up with SiDock@home?
I know they are the marathon project on the upcoming Pentathlon and recently updated their servers.

It's working fine for me.

Also, fightcovid.boinc.ru??? Sidock is at https://www.sidock.si/sidock/

Have never used NVidia GPU for E@H.
It's need for so much CPU processing has had me steer clear of all work there except to get WUProps badges.

The NVidia driver version I had, 434 (IIRC), showed no OpenCL at all available in GPU-z.
Not sure why that driver had no OpenCL abilities.

Oh, the NVidia website says OpenCL 3.0 compliance starts with driver 465
"NVIDIA is now OpenCL 3.0 conformant and is available on R465 and later drivers" https://developer.nvidia.com/opencl

Looks like OpenCL compliance drivers were being released as early as 2009 https://web.archive.org/web/20110408065016/https://developer.nvidia.com/opencl

Guess I'm forgetting things.
Maybe we should invent a world wide database of knowledge to look things up with?

No OpenCL means Windows 10 updated it. Downloading it from NV comes with OpenCL.

I refuse to let MS d/l drivers.

Looks like this one came from Guru3D.
They maintain a vast database of past drivers.
Not nice to find this deficiency.

Thanks for the insight.

Learned how this happened.

Attempting to get the AMD card back to OpenCL 2.0, I went back to a beta driver from the 3 months after the release of the card. OpenCL 2.0 did not return but BOINC minecraft@home complained it did not have an NVida card to complete the WU's already in progress.
GPU-Z reported NO OpenCL on the NVidia card that DID have OpenCL few minutes earlier.

The Adrenalin ReLive drivers must have overwritten the NVidia installed newer OpenCL libraries.

tl:dr AMD and NVidia drivers appear to be in conflict/will override the other company's OpenCL libraries on Window 10.

If by "brand new type of task" you mean "another WUProp app", unfortunately that isn't true.

The application is "Gamma-ray pulsar binary search #1 on GPUs", which is not new. It's obviously been around for at least 5 years, if not more. "(FGRPopenclTV-nvidia)" is the plan class. This won't count as a new WUProp app unless, of course, you've never run any of the "Gamma-ray pulsar binary search #1 on GPUs" tasks before.

Trying to get Gravitational Wave search O3 All-Sky #1 WUs on Einstein.
As usual, you can't select the app in their preferences yet.
I tried the same method as with O3ASE initially, but it doesn't work for me...
Anyone managed it?

Select this App (Gravitational Wave search O3AS Engineering) for the Gravitational Wave search O3 All-Sky #1 WUs ... Not saying you will get any but I have a little over 500 Hr's on it & I'm sure others have Hr's to, I haven't seen any new ones lately though ...

This happens every time with a new app at E@H. The app selection is missing for awhile if there at all on Beta/Eng apps. Not many tasks to send out atm.
