Interesting. Thanks for clarifying. Only the http variant works to join.

On the Home screen the instructions to add the project are:
"Participate
Read our rules and policies
Download and run BOINC.
Choose Add Project
When prompted, enter
https://wuprop.boinc-af.org/
If you have any problems, get help here."
Seems the URL should be: http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/
Otherwise trying to add the project yields a -184 error and says to try again later.
