It worked for me this morning when I read the link in here and I now have almost 50 hours with 4 threads running at once on a laptop but now no tasks can be returned and the database is not found when I try to go to the website, it seems we figured out how to overwhelm them with our enthusiasm LOL

It didn't for either yesterday.

Now I get "Can't connect to database" as the only thing besides the BOINC footer.

Upload servers are down, I have several thousand Wu's sitting here that won't upload. I stopped running it for now ...

All of my pending tasks got uploaded and I got 800 new tasks!!!

I just retried mine & looks like their trying to upload ... they all uploaded & it looks like I got credit for them

I was able to create an account and get a bunch of tasks. Some are like 5 seconds and others are 30 min. Uploads failing now with full HDD message.

I just got 1700 to upload and report, so if you're sitting on any, now would be a good time to retry.

Project is finally up and I wanted to created an account, but it says there already is an account with my email.
Trying to add it with my password does not work, reports wrong password - but then when I try to get my password reset it says there is no account with my email.
This is weird and does not give me a good feeling about what they do there - especially since it's a RUSSIAN website... ;-)

Hm, seems I got it fixed. Obviously it does not work to attach via the BOINC manager without an account, it needs a creation via the website...

T Brada Expirimental Grid - Project end of life

Dear Crunchers of this project. Let me wish you merry christmas and happy winter solstice. It weights my hearth to write this message, but things had come to a point where it is better to end things, rather than endlessly drag them out to no end. Since the summer, I have been hopelessly stomped by a stream of activity, both happy and necessary. It turned out to be impossible to care about this project. Even thought it almost runs itself, even thought I'm thinking right now "gosh, it really should be possible to find a hour or two each month".
It is time to announce that this project will no longer provide any compute jobs. I will, of course, keep the site running, but since there is no work, no new users can get enough points to post, the forums will effectively be dead.

Was able to create account at Parlera but have never been able to get BOINC to attach. Just tried going to web site and get the error message: "Can't connect to database" in top left corner and the default BOINC logo below that in mid screen.

Web site still show same message as in my previous post: "Can't connect to database" in top left corner and the default BOINC logo below that in mid screen.
BOINC returns error message: http://parlea.ru/boinctest/ | [error] No scheduler URLs found in master file when trying to attach.

Yeah I've had about 800 Wu's waiting to report for a week or so now, they uploaded just won't report.

CPND been the same for over a week now, have Wu's waiting to Upload & report ...

Parlea is working great yesterday and today, but I had to do a manual request, again, to get the ball rolling.

High credit per WU, but nothing reported to Free-DC yet.
There's no export checkbox in settings on the Parlea site.

I'm out of the loop; don't even talk to my team anymore.
If there is evidence of Russian military or arms manufacturers (also Gazprov or other Russian fossil fuel industry) funding of the Parlea project; I'd kill all the WU now. Russia has a very dedicated scientific community and I don't think a blanket ban is helpful.

Guess, this should rather be discussed on another forum, but I don't support the US hypocritic actions around natural gas competition to supply EU (both NORDSTREAM are down now, US and British fossil fuel corps won the long game with this Russian invasion) and NATO missile expansion (would ANY Russian leadership want a NATO nuclear warhead stationed 4 minutes from Moscow? Remember the Cuban Missile Crisis?) that precipitated this war, either. Should I just flat out boycott US corporate science too?
Also, Sevastopol was founded in 1789 by Catherine, and is a cultural Russian city where Russia's Baltic fleet is built and maintained and is their access to massive economic sea trade from a port that is ice free all year round. It's as important to Russia as Houston is to the USA. Why can't our news media understand that?
They don't understand because this is a case study in human tribalism where people can't see the common interests each tribe(nation) has and that both might see the others actions as supremely unfair. They refuse to even acknowledge the others legitimate needs that are no different from their own. Because they are members of the other tribe; they are less than human and it's acceptable to treat them unfairly, or kill them.
Humanity is an 8 billion member global species, with nuclear weapons and now the ability to terraform our planet, so the local region, territorial, tribalism we evolved is a danger to our survival.

Ukraine has other Baltic sea ports and I don't think this can end unless Russia gets to keep Sevastopol, and a land corridor to access and defend it, instead a single major bridge that already had an attempt to destroy it.
