Have WUProp presently *suspended* i.e. not to do anything, but notice in the message log the hourly 'call home'. Why that has to be hourly when project is suspended / no work fetch has been set, I don't know, but it starts to irritate. Other project set theirs to once every few days or longer. Pls change that setting as I'm not interested to let you know every hour that the machine is on, and set to not do anything for WUProp presently.

Well, once per hour isn't bad... and several projects do it like e0n and such...

I guess the server just wants to see if your box is still alive...

Actually, it's not the project's fault, but the BOINC client's.

The project informs the client that it should contact the project every so often when the volunteer subscribes to it, which the client seemingly obeys even when the project is suspended.
