First I will have to say that is an truly amazing milestone and a tremendous amount of computer processing time. Congratulations to you Mumps [MM].

As for colours, you do deserve a new colour for that achievement, the first person I believe to do so.

Here is a post by Sebastien from the 13/7/2013, See Here that suggested going to 250,000 points and a different colour, but this was not implemented when the new star totals came into effect later that month.

Mumps and I think a few others have also gone past 1,000,000 hours for a number of applications, again truly amazing.

Sebastien can we have that new colour please, Mumps would be very happy if you could.

Good on'ya STEVE, you and zombie67 have processed so many applications, I just don't see how you keep track of which ones you want to run.

If Sebastien updates the hour total to 250,000 from 100,000 as the next level then you can chase that one and join Mumps with 250,000 hours for each of the first 20 applications, that will burn a few kilowatts.

I can't add new colors

Currently, there are 3002 distinct badges.
Adding one more color will result in adding 1365 badges.

Maybe remove those apps from the circle-stars and make it a separate standalone star, that would negate the need for all the different combos on the circles for it.

Just make it slightly larger than the regular stars and use re-use the same colours for the new levels;

250k = large bronze
500k = large silver
1000k = large gold etc.

There won't be a lot of these and it'll give the big boys a new goal to aim for that should keep them busy for awhile...

Personally I won't try for any Stars over 100k, simply don't have the CPU Power to go for a 250k Star. It takes me to long now to get a 100k Star so I'll just work on the lower ones 10-25-50-100 & add more lower Stars as new App's come out.

A 250k Star is something Mumps & a few other can achieve though ...

Now 7 apps away from a second Ruby, 7 from Gold, 6 from Silver and nowhere near anything else...

Will look to upgrade some of the lower stars (from Ruby down) and crunch towards a 9th star (16 apps shy) while slowly chipping away at the top coloured stars.
Aiming to get apps to Saphire or Magenta as a default standard target, if/when available.

Hard to find other apps now, I'd like to get my 10th star...

Have to do some analytics on my database table of the hours to find new apps to run!
