As you now no doubt know Sebastien is closing down the project in a few days.

One of the original goals for everyone to meet was to get to 5 Blue stars (each blue star is 5,000 hours).
I am just 2 stars away from that goal.

Alas I will now not get there, very sad.

Hope everyone stays well and keep crunching away at your favorite projects.

This was the place to announce new projects, don't know how we will find them now.

I will keep an eye out around other projects but you may not hear or see me very often I'm afraid.

Keep smiling it makes others wonder what you have been up to.

Bok confirmed that he will keep the archive on Free-DC. But you are correct, it will not be updated once wuprop ends.

I'm very happy to have a purple star... I love purple.

Now how to set goals? Just run the WU that earns the best GRC? Hunting hours has been my highest priority since 2017.

We should have the resources amongst us to keep this project going....

We will continue on some how.. I was 15 hours away from upgrading Star 5 so about 2 days. And had as a goal to upgrade star 7 within 3 months. Sebastien had something special here and I thank him for what he did and the class way he ran this site.

Also Thank you's again to some of the senior cruncher's who got my horizons expanded took me from about 8 projects to 171 with 100 hours or more.

I agree. Been thinking about this all day.

People badge hunting here brought some massive computing power to each new work unit and into new projects. WUProp hunters broke ground and brought resources to projects that could flounder without Sebastien hunting for their WU's each day and directing traffic their way.

The projects probably benefited greatly from what WUProps offered and, with hat in hand, they should be approached for help, resources and actual cash donations, to keep Sebastien in the game.

With this project down, projects may very well see a dearth of resources to their newly released work units or when they come back from a break.

I still have my Stars for the 380 applications I had to 100 hours or more but I am only showing 368 on my account.

So hopefully it is a database update that will get things sorted out.

Here too. My rings show 480 apps, which is correct, but I'm now showing only 472 apps over 100 hours in the stats/projects listing.

I now have 621 stars. But still only 6 badges. Perhaps the badge generation cron job takes more time. Let's see tomorrow! :)
