I think it should be changed and recorded as a new project, otherwise it will not reflect reality. The project people say it's a new project, and even the stats on the project are starting from scratch...

You don't need to first create an account online (using reCAPTCHA to show you're not a bot), you can attach directly via BM (creating an account as you proceed) to:

Unfortunately an unknown bug caused Computation error [3] (Compute error) when we bring the project to public. I will cancel the work units and fix it.

I've been picking up some work from the Climate@home project & the Wu's have been running okay for me, takes time to get them but they seem to be trickling thru eventually ...

You need to run a app_config.xml file in the project directory to keep from running out of memory if your short on memory to begin with.

I couldn't catch some hours from the old Climate@Home but yeah, they're obviously counting towards the old entry since the app is called this:
climateathome modeE of Climate at Home 1.27
However, the new app listed in the BOINC manager and the project app page is called:
Climate modelE
So please correct that, Sebastien.

In next few days I will release only short series of WU in different applications because I have to test new work generators for it.
Also, I will start to prepare database with all results for that WU's and slowly start to prepare web interface to download it for everybody who will be interested. This can take one to two weeks as I have other tasks to do in other projects as well :)

Expecting several small releases of tasks for different apps (to test work generators), in the next few days.
Not sure what the next bit means (web interface to download app?!?) but will take one or two weeks more, & krzyszp's working on other projects (GoofyxGrid I guess).

Keep the lines hooked I guess, & check regularly for new app types (need to select these @universe to get any tasks for new apps).

A bit late but anyone attached to ClimatePrediction should ignore the message to change project URL. The project is carrying out maintenance work and temporarily changed the project URL. They will be using the same old URL when they finish repairs. The idea was to allow uploads to a secondary server during the downtime.
You might also notice that the project name also 'temporarily' changed to cpdnboinc.

Climate modelE, from climateathome [not climateprediction/cpdnboinc], is still counting towards the old app, climateathome modeE of Climate at Home.
Good for some wanting to reach milestones, but leaves me in limbo; don't know whether to keep crunching or wait for the new project/app to appear in WUProp (or even if a new app will appear)?

Thanks for the update. I don't see options in preferences to deselect the CPU app and only run the nci app so 'use CPU' is getting left unselected atm.
