Message 5270 - Posted: 25 Jun 2017, 12:44:48 UTC - in response to Message 5264.

I guess Cosmoloy@Home was originally called cosmohome and the Camb app was originally called camb_legacy.

Nope, cosmohome was a side/testproject for developing the new apps before they were deployed on Cosmology.
CAMB was indeed the original app name. I don't know really why the camb_legacy app is counted towards the CAMB app, technically it should have counted as a new one, but as far as I remember it is practically the same app and only got a new name.

Its the same app. Its camb_legacy in Project Preferences->App selection and shows up as CAMB in WUProp. Just like the planck app is call lsplitsims in some locations.

Enigma Cuda is now installed on server, you do not need app_info.xml to run it anymore. On app list it is marked as beta test, so you probably will have to allow test apps in project preferences. So far only Windows version is available. Also number of WUs for it is very limitesd, I hope it will change over time.

Tasks are available now from https://sech.me/boinc/Amicable/ and the new app has just been announced here in [Beta] New / Intermittent applications - and is appearing here already:
Amicable Numbers Amicable Numbers up to 10^20 0.60 0.60

Tasks use ~440MB and take ~40min on a GTX970. Running the MT app version with 4 logical cores committed should take ~3 to 4h on a reasonably modern CPU.
Seems to be a single app for CPU & GPU.

I've had BURP attached for awhile now and I finally got some tasks today. Quite a large percentage are ending up invalid though. 1/3 error out in 17-18 seconds, 1/3 invalid, 1/3 valid. All 6s so far with 1 more. Windows is good 2/2 while two other Ubuntu machines have mixed results.

"Amicable Numbers up to 2^64 (double check)" is retired, since the new "Amicable Numbers Search up to 10^20" is online.

The project website says just the opposite. They are pleading that crunchers return to crunching the old app, since it is not yet finished.

Edit: You are right, the double check version is probably retired. Just the basic version continues...

The normal 2^64 app is still going not the (Double Check) app which has finished.

Currently getting double points for the 2^64 app to get people back to finish it off, as most left it to start 10^20.

The application Native Java 1.8 Application from project MindModeling@Beta is active

Before people rush to add this Beta project or select the above app (which requires using in browser text search, due to their 'spot the difference' naming system) - All 64 tasks are in progress.
This app is their only active app from their incredible list of 70 'different' apps, of which I've managed to get 4 over 100h!

Enigma@Home is going to add new app, "Enigma Test". It will be used to test OpenCL app for AMD/ATI cards and Linux CUDA app. We can expect it around end of this week.

~20min later I picked up 1 task on one system. Took 25sec to complete.
Nothing else in an hour for 3 systems...

Looks like the status page only updates every hour.
With only ~5500 tasks in circulation, and probably going very quickly, there's little point in the likes of me chasing this app ATM; even if I got >5000 tasks, they probably wouldn't reach 100h.

Yes, they are very short. Server status page says that runtime is "0.09 (0.01 - 0.8)" - this is in hours; in minutes this is 5.4 (0.6 - 48). So on average about 1111 tasks are needed to get 100h here. I hope there will be more of them soon, so far I did not get any.
