What are the odds on having only 4 Box's running & 2 of them have a RNA Wu on then as rare as RNA Wu's are ... :D Since I know this feeling: ;-) Yeah, very small chances on that indeed, but check the tasks on how many results are already given out in errors on your earlier wingmen. Pretty sure that these are very long lasting tasks which errored out sooner or later on everyone. Life is Science, and Science rules. The one task I've ever received took 14 million hours to complete. Many more CPU cycles were used before me. http://www.rnaworld.de/rnaworld/workunit.php?wuid=6330740 |

SZTAKI Desktop Grid has posted a final close message dated 6/21/2018 and the Site appears to now be a static site. Operations completed last Stat's exported were on 6/20/2018. --------------------------------- SZTAKI Desktop Grid closed on June 21st, 2018. SZTAKI Desktop Grid was operated by the Laboratory of Parallel and Distributed Systems at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest, Hungary. The SZTAKI Desktop Grid and its applications were partly supported by the IDGF-SP project. The work leading to these results has received funding from the European Union Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013) under grant agreement n° RI-312297. The experts of the International Desktop Grid Federation provided further support for the SZTAKI Desktop Grid infrastructure, its applications, and its integration into the European Grid Infrastructure (EGI). -------------------------------- Another for the Retired section. Universe Quarkstars is back (in the sticky here). There is also a new app called "Neutron Star and Black Hole formation" out. No mention of either on their forums. Edit: Seems Neutron Star and Black Hole formation tasks aren't being sent out yet. |

Tasks are being sent out, but no hours have been added to stats yet. Apparently they are going to be fairly short tasks according to Kyong, however mine are running at least 6 hours, faster computers will run shorter times. Conan |

Yeah I've returned several WUProp tasks w/o hours for the new app. They've been sent out for a day now. I think the duration of the app is short but the run time per task is 3hr+. The admin mentioned nearly 4hr on is Ryzen. The initial ETAs are just 5min before BOINC MGR adjusts for actual run times. |

I've just ran a few of these, one validated so far and a few pending. Seems stable enough. |

I've ran 323 of them, what perplexes me is some project releases 1 Wu & there's a notice about it but a project releases hundreds if not thousands of wu's over 3-4 days time & there's nada ... weird |

Got the impression Apps that have been run before will be automatically detected by WUProp, and appear again, but some new apps need to be added manually. Suspect the WUProp app still detects most new project apps but the web site needs to have some or all added manually before they appear. |

That is my thought as well given the timing of the posts in the sticky. The new Universe app is collecting hours. I think some hours were backdated a bit. |

Pretty sure that these are very long lasting tasks which errored out sooner or later on everyone. The deadline keeps extending for tasks if there is progress. That's only reflected on the project website though so no worries. I got 3,939.72 hrs from my one RNA task. They are long super long. |

The RNA WU got up to 99.998% & 90+ Days that I seen, it may have got to 100% for all I know but when I checked on it later it had dropped back to 98.765% & that's where it's been for the last 4 Hr's now. Probably will error out at some point ... I'm 40 Hr's short of 2500 Hr's for the RNA Project so I hope it keeps running that long anyway. If it does once I'm over 2500 Hr's I'll stop BOINC & restart it again to see if it kick starts the Wu into making some progression again, if it doesn't I'll abort it ... |
