MindModeling@Beta has moved from Dayton University to Wright State University. The work units are now being stamped with MindModelin@Beta_WSU instead of MindModeling@Beta. So this makes WUProp@home think it's another project and has started a new entry. It is the same project running the same stuff. Conan |

WCG's Beta Test 7.19 appears to be over and the New project is called Mapping Cancer Markers, as reported by [SG-FC]shka. The app is called Mapping Cancer Markers 7.24 It's single threaded. The deadline for the first 10,000 WU's was 3days. Subsequent tasks (already released) have the normal WCG deadline of 10 days. Resends may be less. Tasks are presently 49000GFlops. So on a high end system tasks should complete in around 3 to 4h. Virtual memory is only ~90MB and the Working set is about 51MB. Task names are along the lines of MCM1_0000002_8451_0.  =sticky tape=

MindModeling@Beta has moved from Dayton University to Wright State University. The project has said that there should be no more of these test work units with the WSU extension. All new work will have the same MindModeling@beta that they had before, the WSU ones weren't supposed to have been leaked out to us volunteers. Conan |

Constellation have a new test app called, IMEX: Cometary Dust Trails in Space 0.05 I'm presently running several test005_1_xxx WU's, and more are in the queue. Asteroids released a new applications for NVIDIA GPUs (CUDA 5.5 and Compute Capability 2.0 is required). Apps available for Linux and Windows. Collatz has decided to only create Solo Collatz from now on. Since the system had to be totally rebuilt. The interesting thing is it now tests the speed of your machine and will sends you one of four different sized units depending on speed. It does this by sending what was a regular Collatz size to run first then makes the decision off the speed on that unit for the next unit and keeps testing each unit you send back. So "Collatz" and "Mini Collatz" named units will no longer be available in that naming convention.  My movie https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/502242 |

I got some WUs for what seems like a new application from Constellation: Me, too...And now they are sending out what looks like production WU's (non-beta). These are registering in my WUPROP listing, but not the beta app work. |

GPUGRID is running test for a Vina CPU project, App name: CPU only app 1.01 Tasks are of the format x-GIANNI_VINATEST-0-1-... Run times are typically around 6 minutes. The Andriod app is now up to 1.07, though it's not being tested at the moment. |
