tried some of the suggestions, terminal is saying kvm not found when I run 1 command ... modprobe -r kvm

then says it's in use when I run the other command ... modprobe -r kvm

I'm good on the XTrack Wu's, started up another Box & to my surprise it run the XTrack's okay, it has 44 threads so that'll will do me for now. I'll try working on some of the other box's & see if I can get them to run the LHC Wu's too.

Checked all 4 other box's running now & they all say KVM not installed when I run the sudo apt remove kvm command ... So it's not kvm that those 4 won't run the LHC Wu's, they haven't got any XTracks yet so maybe their different & they will run them ?

My Treadripper box just keeps saying VBox not installed when I know it is installed, the BIOS says Virtual Technology Enabled ... So have no idea why it says it's not installed ...

Like SixTrack the tasks will be distributed quickly. ATM I see none although I've DL'd some when it's said zero as server status isn't on demand live.

VBox is not needed. Just enable beta app.

Right, I tried to install V-Box again this morning, seems to get so far then some errors start popping up in the terminal saying essentially that it can't finish installing V-Box. I downloaded a self installer right from Oracle & it installs okay & the V-Box Shortcut it in the Apps folder but LHC still says V-Box isn't installed ...

You need to make sure that Docker isn't running. I can't help you with Windows, but in Linux you need to make sure the modules kvm-and/intel and kvm are unloaded. In a Debian based system, use "sudo modprobe -r kvm-amd/intel" (use either amd or intel, not both) and then "sudo modprobe -r kvm", then restart boinc "sudo service boinc-client restart". You should have access to vbox.
