If you have firewall - try to disable it. If this fixes the problem - you may think how to configure the firewall. This is from Win XP, if there is ping or similar command on Debian what happens if you "ping localhost": > ping localhost Pinging [127.0.0.1] with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=64 Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=64 Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=64 Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=64 Ping statistics for 127.0.0.1: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) |

Thx for good direction :) I can't ping localhost, so I have executed "ifconfig lo 127.0.0.1" and this helps... BOINC@Poland Member |

Now if you want us to see your 'hours' like this ('Reported data' at right): http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/show_user.php?userid=5849 go to WUProp@Home preferences http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/prefs.php?subset=project and select: Should WUProp@Home show app hours statistics on your account data page and export statistics? yes - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) |
