Or maybe I'm reading it wrong? http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/results/ram.py?plateforme=all&tri=2&sort=desc I've recently installed Boinc on the ImcoV6L eReader to see if it'll work. I tried WCG, but it claims there is not enough RAM for it to work, Vina requires 250MB. But why does the statistic here say it's only 26? (I haven't yet added WuProp to the boinc on this device, so there won't be any data of it. I'm considering running it, though, assuming that it'll collect some data about the device even if there is no other WU running.) |

It will collect no data and give you 0 points if you run with no other projects running. My movie https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/502242 |

The actual memory used can vary for each work unit; the developers guesstimate the maximum needed, then pad it a little bit because the WU will fail/get killed by BOINC if it reaches the ceiling of its allocated memory. If you're having troubles with WCG due to memory, there are other projects that require less memory, such as Enigma. Click here to see My Detailed BOINC Stats |
