Could someone please check what may be happening with this new installation, giving out results which are complete, but rendered invalid, and what I can do to correct it?

It looks like you are doing no other work to count hours, so it will be invalid unless you do other BOINC work.

Why?
Some WU are invalid, some are valid - invalid are always more.
This host does work for other person while WUPROP is for me. Is it problem? Few months ago all was OK.

"16:56:49 (3708): can't connect to localhost16:56:49 (3708): Erreur reception active_result"; Rinse, repeat until end of task... Basically it means the WuProp TASK CAN NOT LINK TWO DIFFERENT USER ACCOUNTS.

I would guess the projects being crunched have to be tied to YOUR BOINC ACCOUNT/CPID otherwise WuProp can not correctly determine who is to get credit.

It's possible that you don't have a line:
127.0.0.1 localhost

... in file:
\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Not sure that I should post to an old thread, but I have similar WU's with 'Completed, marked as invalid' for 1 Lubuntu host. Here's one:

I still get them every day off the same 2 Computers, never have got an answer when I 1'st Posted here, I'm not even sure the Hr's from these 2 Computers are even being counted for the longest time now. I have no Idea why the Wu's are Marked Invalid ...

We have probably unrelated causes for a similar problem.

You did the usual troubleshooting at the 2 hosts like resetting the wuprop-project and/or detach/reattach?

I guess we have to wait for some techie to clear things up...
