Why only 1 WU per MACHINE vs CPU? I just came back to WuProp after a LONG time.. I thought I remembered it used to allow 1 WU per CPU It seems sort of a waste to only do 1 WU per client vs per CPU If someone has 6, 8, or 12 CPUs, why not 6-12 WUs per machine? ------------ Alienware Aurora R3 Intel I7-2600K OCed to 5Ghz, H20 Cooled (2) Nvidia Titan Z GPUs in Quad SLI layout |

It always has been 1 task per computer. It records ALL active project tasks across ALL THE CPU's CORES while running. |

Because you'd be measuring exactly the same thing multiple times :) Cheers, Al. |

I will ask here. I have 2 boinc running on one host. This is to give me more flexibility setting CPU per project as well separate CPU from GPU computing. And here I have problem. WUProp runs on one boinc (GPU + Radioactive + vLHC) and it counts well, but second boinc with CPU projects (Leiden for now) is not calculated. IF I run WUProp on other boinc it gives me only errors. Is there any way to count second boinc WUs? |
