Curious about a new application that has appeared on my list when the project has not listed any new application and my work units have not changed. Albert@Home Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo) has been the listing here at WUProp for all my current work units. Albert@Home Binary Radio Pulsar Search is now also listed but on checking at the project I can find nothing to indicate a new work unit type has been issued. So wondering where it has come from, since the work is the same and the units have the same name as before. Conan |

I think they should be merged together under the Einstein@Home / Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo) TAG - THEY ARE THE SAME as far as I can tell based on my memory and the active app list on Einstein's web page (see below). I think what happened was Einstein renamed the app somewhere in the last months when they made some changes to it. I also have BOTH in my list of (active) apps and in the past week have been receiving credit under the Einstein@Home / Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo) listing while running on my Android. Below is the list of ACTIVE APPS on Einsten@Home
Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo, GPU) Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Perseus Arm Survey) Gravitational Wave S6 Directed Search (CasA) Gamma-ray pulsar search #3 Gamma-ray pulsar search #4 |

Appears according to my stats at least that the two apps hours have been merged for Einstein@Home under the ...(Arecibo) tag. Now we need it done for the SAME TWO APPS for Albert@Home since they are the also the same app there. Albert@Home / Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo) Albert@Home / Binary Radio Pulsar Search |
