Hi.
I have one WU of climateprediction.net on some old computer with one core.
A few days ago "Pending hours" in Reported data table have been reseted.
Now for this WU (app: UK Met Office HadAM3P-HadRM3P Pacific North West) I have 44 hours.
On the computer in Boinc manager I have about 270h.
Is this problem with climate WU or wu-prop application?
Can you check this?

The problem is not with the climate model.
Did you keep an eye on this and see if it was subsequently updated?
If there is any problem it might be with the WUProp database, the project might only be updating credit twice a day (to prevent server overuse).

I might be seeing something related to this with the NetMax project,

11h ago, NetMax@home Netmax Application 487.53 41.03
10h ago, NetMax@home Netmax Application 498.88 47.68
and now, NetMax@home Netmax Application 498.88 65.68

I've not had any WUProp errors in the last day and I'm only running it on one system on 4 to 5 threads.

From the reset time of this climate's WU, there is permanently progress of computing time in WU-prop database.
It was few days ago and about ten WU-prop tasks ago.
(I hope, I correctly understand your question :) )

Is it possible, that someone could check database for this computer (http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/show_host_detail.php?hostid=5793) and fix the problem?
From 2-3 months it's computing only this climate WU (UK Met Office HadAM3P-HadRM3P Pacific North West)

Back in December I lost 50h towards a HadAM3P-HadRM3P Europe model,

http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/forum_thread.php?id=298&postid=2504

Maybe something similar again.

I'm running a climate model on one system. The pending hours are rising and it's due to finish in ~18h:
12h ago, climateprediction.net UK Met Office Coupled Model Full Resolution Ocean 4,088.33 253.38
and now, climateprediction.net UK Met Office Coupled Model Full Resolution Ocean 4,088.33 265.38

I've a WUProp task running on that system and due to finish in ~10min, so I will see if there are any big changes.

update, climateprediction.net UK Met Office Coupled Model Full Resolution Ocean 4,088.33 271.38

Hopefully I'll get the credits tomorrow...

Anyone know if WUProp moves hours from Pending to Run Time after a 'Trickle-up' for climate?

I expect I will lose some Pending hours for NetMax,
NetMax@home Netmax Application 533.30 43.60

No, the hours are only transferred upon return of the WU (doesn't have to complete, if it fails and gets returned then the hours processed are added to your total).

The credits will probably take a little while as the trickle system has been down at Climate since the 4th March, no trickles, no points. Waiting for the project to get this fixed.

climateprediction.net UK Met Office Coupled Model Full Resolution Ocean 4,088.33 271.38

Did get the WUProp credits,
- climateprediction.net UK Met Office Coupled Model Full Resolution Ocean 4,374.10 0.00

The NetMax hours also shifted from Pending to Ran Time,
NetMax@home Netmax Application 585.73 10.25

So there is a hope, that I don't lose all the 228 hours of the UK Met Office HadAM3P-HadRM3P Pacific North West WU computing.

It would appear that with the new updated application each Trickle report is crediting it's hours to your ClimatePrediction.net hour total.

This is a new feature along with the dropping of the Pending Hours.

The new app credits all other running apps when it's reported, after every 6h. So it doesn't need/use the trickle up, AFAIK.
Overall this is a better system IMO.

It is in the news.

Updated applications, the pending hours are not used any more. The hours that you generat are credited direct to each application that you are working on when each WUProp WU is reported back to the project.

The pending hours column now shows hours generated per application over the last day.
