I've recently started a batch of "UK Met Office HadAM3P-HadRM3P Europe" models to crunch, thought it would be a new model and app. Now I noticed that these are counting towards the old app which was earlier called "European Region" and is now renamed. Does anybody know if these are really the same apps? Because as for the new "Africa"-models they're not counting towards the old "South Africa"-apps, they're counted as a completely new app. Life is Science, and Science rules. They are the same application (the Europe and European Region apps) and were renamed on the CPDN web site due to some reason or another, I can't remember what the reason was. Not sure if the Africa models are covering all of Africa or just the southern part like the South Africa models were doing. Haven't had any of these ones for quite a while so can't tell. Conan |

The rename was to allow better identification of the sub-models being run. Some of the recent (and forthcoming) applications include MOSES II (soil) and/or TRIFFID (vegetation) modelling. The AFR application does cover a wider region than the SAF one did. "The ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it leaves to its children." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer |

Hi there, I thought this might be the proper place to share that I've been running UK Met Office HadAM3P and HadRM3P model with MOSES II and TRIFFID Europe for quite some time on two Core 2 Duo machines, but under the results page I cannot see the computation time, but only Interval Checkpoints http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/results/projet.py?projet=climateprediction.net&application=UK+Met+Office+HadAM3P+and+HadRM3P+model+with+MOSES+II+and+TRIFFID+Europe&plateforme=all&cpu_family=Intel%2CCore+2+Duo+Mobile&gpu_family=all This is true for both Mobile and Desktop. Any ideas why is that? |

Hey does anyone can give some hints on my previous question? I'm wondering why do I still Wuprop while I can't see the computation time of the models?! |

G'Day Bernard, I did a few checks of other projects and some of the various applications that they run. Not all projects have this information, most do but not all. Some applications don't have it others do. None of the ClimatePrediction.net ones seems to have that inforamation, nor does QMC or BealF, both of which I have run recently plus a few others. Most other projects seem to have this information. Maybe it is just a data collection issue from those projects and that would have to be looked at by the Administrators of this project, but for the most part it is working. Conan |

Thank you Conan, I hope the administrator of the project could give some insights as well. Cheers |
