I'm using this app file which has worked up till now on this computer but now I'm getting error messages & don't know how to get it to get a usable version other than what the Project sends me ...

If this is a direct copy of your <app_info> file on that computer, then there is a grammatical error on the line that I have highlighted, I think this would cause the error that you have been getting.

It should be <version_num>420</version_num>

Okay I didn't see that & will try to correct it to see if it fix's the Problem ... Thanks

EDIT Still getting the same message may have to wait until tomorrow some time to see if it gets a new Wu or not ... :/

Are you using the app_info file just for the purpose of having an alternate port than the default 31416? If so, you may be able to use app_config instead. If the app_config works, then it removes the requirement of editing the app_info when a new version is released, i.e. 4.20 to 4.21

That didn't work, the Wu didn't validate for some reason, but I copied the .exe & data_collect_v4 file back to the folder that I had saved & reused the app_config with the correction in it & it seems to be working after I recieved a new data_collect_v4 File from the project after I restarted Boinc, will know in 6 hr's if it validates or not ... :/
