I didn't see another thread that discussed this issue, so here goes.

I just added a brand new Samsung Galaxy S6 to the project Computer ID 84252. The CPU is ARM AArch64 Processor rev 0 (aarch64) octocore.

All WUProp WUs are failing immediately:
Stderr output
<core_client_version>7.4.41</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<message>
process exited with code 1 (0x1, -255)
</message>
<stderr_txt>
error: only position independent executables (PIE) are supported.

</stderr_txt>
]]>

I am running WUProp successfully on 2 other Android devices. It sounds like WUProp is a no go on this machine unless someone has a workaround.
Best wishes,

The task you downloaded 20 minutes before your post has completed successfully.

It ran "Data collect version 5 v5.03 (android_arm_pie)" but all of the failed tasks before that ran "android_arm_non_pie", so something must have changed to allow the project to tell that the device has to run the PIE version of the application.
