It seems that wuprop@home website does support secure connection (https) but it seems also that http (non secure connection) is allowed, instead of automatically redirecting connection to https port to force secure connection.

Is it possible to fix it ?

I for one do not want to be redirected to https as this will cause at least one of my computers to no longer work with this project or at least have problems.

It was tried before and a lot of people could no longer connect to the project, particularly those using older clients and in some cases operating systems as well.
That is why Sebastien allowed both http and https.

If you use the https version of the project url to connect then that is what you will get. If you use http then you will connect with http.
