I asked the question below on the PrimeGrid forum, but since a lot of the power users with heavy experience frequent this project I will pose it as well. On Windows 10 version 2004 Hardware accelerated gpu scheduling was added if your Video card supported it and you had (NVIDIA version 451.48, AMD version 20.5.1 Beta) installed. Theory being o off loading the CPU of the GPU scheduling that the GPU could do for it's self. For the Gamer's it might add 2-4 frames ps if you had a newer card last year. Has anyone played with it to see if it would help with computational work like what we do ? This? https://developer.nvidia.com/gpudirect I had seen an Interview between a Micron/Nvidia employees working with GPUDirect on a DGX system and the CPU load drastically reduced just from not having to feed the GPUs. 1st thing I thought of was the Nvidia apps that have a thread spun up just to feed the GPU but is mostly waiting. |

This? Yep that seems to be the effort. The Win 10 help article that I saw said that unless you have all the basic requirements that the option will not be available under the Graphic's settings on Display. And some of the user comments from the Gamer's that had played with it indicated that some of them had to bump their Video drivers to the most recent version to resolve video artifacts.
