The way they programmed the Account Information, Other Account Information page is outdated. It automatically attaches http:// to any URL you put in there, which makes a URL of https invalid, because it tries to go to http://https:// I would love to see this fixed. It automatically attaches http:// to any URL you put in there, which makes a URL of https invalid, because it tries to go to http://https:// That's a BOINC WIDE SERVER CODE ISSUE and should be reported to the BOINC GITHUB code repository for a code fix to be pushed out to all projects.

That's a BOINC WIDE SERVER CODE ISSUE and should be reported to the BOINC GITHUB code repository for a code fix to be pushed out to all projects. It has been fixed in newer version of the code, but many projects stay with older code because of heavy modifications that can get lost when upgrading. It is a simple code fix for the admin.
