I have a system at a somewhat remote location, that I visit about ones a day on weekdays and Saturdays. There is no internet connection there, so I connect using my cellphone and USB tethering. Works like a charm. In the 6h-workunit days, the WU would keep running until the network connection was reestablished. I found a message (https://wuprop.boinc-af.org/forum_thread.php?id=543&postid=7525) where this is mentioned. However, now I see, that sometimes the WU stops processing after 1.5h, or 2.5h, or any other random time before I visit the location. Very seldom I find the WU still running after 24+ hours. Why do not the WU's keep running until the network is turned back on? Thanks, Ruud |
