But strangely, I now have several hosts, half of which have been functioning normally, while the other half have been unable to connect for several days. (since 4 Jul)

But strangely, I now have several hosts, half of which have been functioning normally, while the other half have been unable to connect for several days. (since 4 Jul) Check and make sure the non connecting hosts have https:// in front of the wuprop address, CloudFlare will not connect things without that anymore. Also make sure your hosts aren't banned for ONLY running wuprop, you MUST run another project as well or wuprop will ban your host for 24 hours. Yes even the projects like Goofy or ithena will work as a 2nd project. |

But strangely, I now have several hosts, half of which have been functioning normally, while the other half have been unable to connect for several days. (since 4 Jul) STOP & Exit BOINC, then Power down, REBOOT and restart BOINC is what I have to do when 1 or more of my PC'S get this error message. As previously mentioned, it probably has to do with a CloudFlare issue being overly aggressive in blocking the connection to WuProp for some stupid reason. ** Edit to add if you profile information is correct, your country is China, another reason to suspect CloudFlare interference with the connection. |

(since 4 Jul) Some of these computers are turned off and turned on again for a long time, and even the IP has changed, but the phenomenon is still the same. Could it be caused by the project team's blocking?

Some of these computers are turned off and turned on again for a long time, and even the IP has changed, but the phenomenon is still the same. The local IP address, within your internal local network / on your router or gateway might change unless these individual computers are directly connected to an external Internet Service. Could it be caused by the project team's blocking? It's a possibility, but that's something I can not verify. Sébastien, project manager would have to advise on that. |
