2.36 hold an annoying network bug ?

I did notice it is only affecting my Windows hosts; XP 32bit, Vista 32bit and Vista 64bit. My Mac and Liunx hosts seem fine, but they are running version 2.32 still. According to my router web browser page I have synchronised with the ADSL exchange DSLAm as fast as I ever have. Could the new version have some small impact on networks still?
