I saw that at Aug/22 2012 17:23:19 UTC Data collect version 3 v3.36 for Linux and Windows was released. What's new or changed? |

Again a new app (v4). What's new? It's needed to upgrade to BOINC v7 for to participate further at WUProp? Number crunching : Minimum BOINC version for this project |

Again a new app (v4). What's new? v4 removes the ability of OS X devices from running WUProp. Even if they are already running BOINC 7. |

Again a new app (v4). What's new? ...well, no, because v4 isn't available for OS X yet. It should still be serving v3.x in the meantime. v4 can't "remove" the ability on an OS that v4 doesn't actually exist on. |

Again a new app (v4). What's new? Actually, it can and it did. It refused to serve v3.x because it thought (a) I had < BOINC 7 and (b) I had a Windows machine (which was why it was trying to ship v4). Would you prefer I had said "the existence of v4 removes....? Having said all that, it eventually coughed up the right WU. But I wasn't the only one caught up in this. |
