I made some changes to the application in order to implement a badge. The badge will be assigned based on the number of applications for which you have returned data and the number of hours run on these applications. I will post more informations in a few days. |

I have the same problem. It looks like the new app requires a newer version of GLIBC than RedHat Linux provides. |

I released a new version compiled with an older version of GLIBC. |

Did you use Norton as antivirus? |

Did you use Norton as antivirus? No, I don't use Norton anti-virus software. I use Trend Micro, but could not find anything to say it was blocking it. The main executable file had been removed from the projects folder and the new executable was not downloaded into the projects folder as only the cache file was in the wuprop folder. I tried a reset last night but nothing changed so I detached and re-attached this morning and now all is working again with the new App downloading and is now running. So don't know what the issue was but it seems that in switching from one version the next cleaned out the old file but did not download the new file. Conan |

Did you use Norton as antivirus? Well it looks like I spoke too soon. 3 work units processed fine with no errors and were validated. Then the same muck started again, with the same error, failing on 8 work units then reached its limit on failed work units. So I detached and re-attached twice due to the fact that it worked for me before but not this time as I now have the message that I have reached my daily quota of 2 tasks on this host and I can't have any more. I wont know if the Detach and re-attach worked till I can get some work sent to me again. See this WU as an example. The computer is an AMD Phenom 955 @3.2 GHz running Windows XP 32 bit with Trend Micro anti-virus which is not blocking this programme. It has been working with no problems or errors for many months so I have only had problems with this new application. Conan |

The message couldn't start CreateProcess() failed - Access is denied. (0x5): -148 indicates that the BOINC client can not launch the application. Usually this is due to an anti-virus or firewall. |

I guess I do not understand the Badge list, nor the Reported Data on my account. So what I am asking is how much work is needed to gain badges (the chart is very confusing) and what does the Reported Data numbers mean since there is no header to that column? Thanks. |

EdIT: I found it & your right, it's about the most confusing Badge List I've ever seen ... O_o If that was just the list, that is confusing... a real explanation of how it works would be indeed nice... also what are the numbers displayed under "Reported data" in our accounts. |

My interpretation is that you need 20 apps to reach 100 hours to get the first badge. Currently I have 18 apps that meet this requirement. My guess is that when two more reach it, I will have the first possible badge. Could we get the badges to show up under our Team lists and under the Participants Statistics list? And will these badges show up in the message boards under our names? |

So somebody could actually run up 5 million Credits here at WUProp but never get a Badge because they didn't run the right Apps ??? https://signature.statseb.fr/sig-1323.png https://stats.free-dc.org/badgesbanner.php?cpid=13a87c3a303bcdca4ba0ed600daebb6b |
