Very few new applications last month but there could be a few over this month and the next, we just have to wait and see. How many applications have you collected? Bok's "Free-DC" web site shows your hours and how you rank against others (you must allow for the hours export in you account preferences, there is no security problems as no one can access your account). Just allow the export and as you pass 180 applications I can add you to this list. Congratulations Brian, you now exist in the crunchy world of e-bling! 9th star changed: ... -> ... 5apps needed for another star, 4apps from a silver upgrade, 6apps needed for emerald, and 3apps needed for a second magenta. |

Congratulations Brian, you now exist in the crunchy world of e-bling! Yeah, thanks funny part of it is that I've been a WUProp@Home member since 27 Jan 2011 .. I just didn't understand how this worked until recently. |

Woot! Yet another colorless upgrade. I now have my top 40 apps all over 250,000 hours. :) Absolutely amazing work there Mumps, it seems there is need for another level or two to be added. I won't be worrying those high colours for a long time, but a number of people have now passed 250,000 hours for applications. More levels (colours) please Sebastien. Conan |

Woot! Yet another colorless upgrade. I now have my top 40 apps all over 250,000 hours. :) Well, Sebastien has already mentioned that with the exponential way that the icon combinations go up with each additional color level, that it would be pretty ridiculous to add more colored stars. But maybe just adding colors to the app listing and stats graph wouldn't be too hard. :) I've been thinking about how tough it might be to have 2 different badges though. One form (the now traditional ring) for the currently defined levels, but adding a slightly different icon only for those levels beyond 100K. Right now, 250K, 500K and 1M are about it, although I've got the couple of goofy apps nearing 5M hours already. :) |

Primegrid added more by reusing the colors, but changing the badge. First badge is just square, next set is a flag. That could easily be done here, start over on the colors but make the stars a different shape, maybe circle or triangle or ?? |

Congrats on the update Conan, & Big app update milestone Mumps. Also changed my 11th star to silver: ... -> ... Still need 5apps for another star, 5apps needed for emerald, and 3apps for a second magenta... -- Regarding any New Badge Proposals: But maybe just adding colors to the app listing and stats graph wouldn't be too hard. :)- sounds doable & realistic. Adding more star colours to the same system is a non starter (exponential increase in badges). So the badge system itself would need to be redesigned to add more star colours. In theory that could be scripted, reading from user data. How practicable that would be I don't know; it might put too much load on the hosting web server, or just be too much unwanted work. Maybe I'm missing something but I don't think the PG system is similar; changing from a star to a triangle or circle would not reduce the total number of badge variants, it would increase the number of badges (same exponential problem). |

Hi - I just finished some time on my 20th project (not 100 hours yet though) so shouldn't I get a badge with 0 stars? until I achieve 100 hours or more on all 20 projects? then I should receive my 1st bronze star! |

Third star turned gold. Being a person who doesn't bounce projects much anymore, I work on more or less a single project, since they added a bunch of new apps, I had been able to build to a 3rd star and currently have it at gold. It will eventually make Ruby, but probably not go much further than that in any short future. My movie https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/502242 |

The original hour goal set on this project was a Blue Star equal to 5,000 hours. Getting 5 Blue Stars was the highest target (at 5,000 hours + for each of 100 applications). This was first achieved by STEVE and closely followed by zombie67 [MM]. Since then it was found we needed more levels (star colours), even with 10,000; 25,000; 50,000 and 100,000 hour levels these have been reached by a few. STEVE and zombie67 [MM] where also the first and second to 5 Pink Stars of 10,000 hours each. Recently shiva and vaughan have joined the 10,000 hour badge club with 5 Pink Stars.
