That app is working fine for me, I have 165 hours on it. I am having trouble uploading my most recent WUProp WUs though, seems to be some kind of server maintenance.

I just started running that App again late yesterday, seem's to have jumped up some Hr's now, maybe it had something to do with the Server Migration that was mentioned by the Admin ...

I'm having the same problem Uploading & reporting Wu's, I hope this isn't something that is going to last the whole Holiday weekend, that will be a big waste of time if it does ... Just checked again & the Wu's Uploaded & Reported ... :)

I'm crunching the new "cmsearch VM (VirtualBox)"-App for RNA World, I'm doing so since ~14h, and have since accumulated a bit more than 30h of crunch-time, and nothing is seen so far in my account. Even if I look here in the project RNA World in results, I don't get this WU-type for selection, only cmsearch XXL (long).

Could it because of the VBox set-up, that you simply can't detect this WUs?
Is it something that you have to change or something that should be done at the project?

Dunno what you've done, or if something at all, but it's fine now.
Merci!

physics@home has restarted and has a new URL. There is a slightly change the URL, the "at" has been removed.

Main web page: http://physicshome.tk/physics/

Stats moved to: http://physicshome.tk/physics/stats/

I ran some Physics workunits in the last 12 hours but have NOT received CREDIT for the RUN TIMES here at WuProp.

Here is a summary taken from my Physics account page (Userid 809):
7,844.30 Seconds (2.1800 Hours) of coherence film sintering nano v0.06
3,862.44 Seconds (1.0729 Hours) of Rendering film sintering nano v0.12

Is this related to the NEW URL for the project as noted in my previous Message #1716?

I don't think that the http web address has much to do with it.
As the project picks up the application info of the running work unit from your computer and matches it with the information on your WUProp account (application name and project name), the hours should just be added to the matching applications.
So if you account information has not changed then everything will stay the same.

I have been credited for my Physics work over the last 2 days here at WUProp so I don't know why you haven't been.

I had to detach and re-attach twice to the project, but things seem to be working now.

Maybe it just takes a little time to refresh? I am not sure what the problem is.

That is at least how I understand the situation.

Same here, some of the tasks only take seconds though.

BURP's SunflowerBlender (Linux) app is multi-threaded.
Full name,
    SunflowerBlender (Linux) 4.84 (mt)

Looks like you are going by elapsed time rather than runtime, for I'm only getting runtime credit for 1 CPU core.
The present running app has >120h of CPU time, but WUProp says I've only reached 64h in the last month (only been running work there for a week),

    BURP SunflowerBlender (Linux) 64.33

BTW. Some of BURP's tasks use Lots of RAM, some don't progress and you cant set which you want to crunch for on their site (that I can see).

On the subject of Physics,
I have been getting credit, but not for Rendering film sintering nano v0.12. I got credit for the 'Rendering film sintering nano v0.06' version. I think I deselected 'Rendering film sintering nano' but started getting the v0.12 versions.
Also, some of their tasks take 2 seconds on my system with upload and download of around 2MB, and I was getting lots of download errors yesterday.

The same happens with the windows app "SunflowerBlender".
It was reported as corrected. Though that was the version 3 app.
Can this be corrected again?

And please add the Pirates app "hello - Hello BOINC World".

Be warned that the BURP SunflowerBlender (Linux) 4.08 (mt) app doesn't checkpoint and the tasks take >hundred hours. Worse still, even with LAIM on, the tasks restart from the beginning when the Boinc scheduler decides to run something else for a while. Elapsed time also zeros. Of course, the estimated runtime of these tasks (10K Gflops) worked out at only 14minutes for me, because the BURP crew didn't bother making a reasonable GFlops estimate (not that they are the only lazy players around).

I asked the Boinc devs for a selection option to allow a task to continue onto completion years ago, or for WU's to continue running after they reach a certain runtime or % complete (even if it's 99%).
At 88% complete and 124h in, on 3 CPU cores (372h total), you really don't want the task restarting from zero!

Due to my queue on that system I decided to abort the WU and refrain from BURPing for a while. Fortunately I still got the app runtime credit at WUProp, which leaves me perilously close to a 4th star...:
    BURP SunflowerBlender (Linux) 127.05 0.05

Par for the course I guess...

The new VolPex application Sieve 1.0 is not yet showing up under my account.

I have run quite a few work units over the day and should have some time accumulated, but nothing is showing yet.

MindModeling@Beta
Native [R] v2.15.1 Application

is not showing any hours.

WUs for this app just started showing up about 3.5 hours ago.
I am unsure if this is a new app or if it is part of the Native R v2.15.1 Application. They show up as two different app listings on the tasks page. In either case I see no new accrued/pending hours.

I just received a couple of WUs from climate prediction, for what seems like a new application, or at least an unlisted application here on WUProp:

UK Met Office HADAM3P Southern Africa 6.09

Could you please check it?

Thanks!
