The application EXACT2 Convolutional Neural Network Trainer from project Citizen Science Grid uses 1.3GB RAM per task!

I'm running 8 Exact & 8 Exact2 Wu's on my 64gb of Memory Win 10 Laptop, all I'm seeing is about 405MB's for the Exact & 450MB for the Exact2 Wu's.

I did see about 1.4GB's of Memory on my Win 8 Laptop though running 8 at a time of the Exact2 Wu's, stopped running them on that box as it only has 8GB of memory.

Check the WU ID,

example; exact_genome_1490113752_9_3212

The ones with 9 or 10 are the big ones, the 11 or 12 ones are regular size...

From Travis;

Workunits with a search id of 9 or 10 are running the larger CIFAR-10 dataset, and workunits with a search id of 11 or 12 are running the MNIST dataset. The search ID matches up to the searches on the overview page:

Now that the ATLAS move to LHC has been announced, I'm wondering how this consolidation will affect us here.

ATLAS has 2 apps: ATLAS Simulation / ATLAS Simulation Running on Multiple Core
LHC has one app: ATLAS Simulation

However the LHC app is a multicore configurable app

See the problem?

Thanks. My Linux system seemed to handle them reasonably well; didn't try to run more than it could, but such well defined tasks are a rarity these days (with so many greedy virtual machine tasks hogging to failure).

Perhaps the LHC configurable MT app will replace the ATLAS MT app?

For here, I suggest just keeping the previous apps against old (migrated/merged) projects, akin to dead apps/projects - rather than trying to merge apps/projects (less work).

If the configurable mt LHC app starts to be used by ATLAS then it would be a new app for ATLAS.

PrimeGrid has announce their new LLR 3.8.20 that is now live and supports multi-threading. This is LLR tasks only, Sieve and GFN are still single core.

You need to either use an app_config (preferred) or app_info to enable the multi-threading. I suspect this will cut your hours down if running one multi-thread over single cores, but it is now a choice you can use.

The same application on the project SRbase (NB "-tx" without space)

There are no problems with the hours, if everything is correctly written to a file app_config (link)

<app_config>

<app>
<name>llrSOB</name>
<fraction_done_exact/>
</app>

<app_version>
<app_name>llrSOB</app_name>
<cmdline>-t 4</cmdline>
<avg_ncpus>4</avg_ncpus>
</app_version>

</app_config>

Thanks to Bok's awesome new feature, I've found an anomaly

From the Active Projects page:
cgminer (Campaign #5) (for 1+TH/s ASICs) 171

From my activity:
Bitcoin Utopia (Campaign #5) (for 1+TH/s ASICs) 342.92 7.42

These must be the same app.

No problems running on 64-bit Ubuntu with 16GB RAM, WUs take a little over 4MB at max. I already completed 80 that got validated, 13 more are awaiting validation.

Bad news - DrugDiscovery@Home project is stopped.
I hope that the personal data of users did not go to scammers.

I also use this version, specially updated for this project (+ VBox ExtPack)
All tasks are completed successfully

You have a problem with the path to the program - there are no quotes near the "Program Files"

I installed the Extension Pack & will see what happens when I can get another Wu, I don't have trouble with other V-Box Projects or other Project Regular Wu's on that Box so there should be none with this project either I would think ...

EDIT: Well that didn't work either, erred out in the usual 33 Seconds,only thing I cant think of is that it's a Win 10 Box & needs something else installed ...

EDIT #2 I did get the Wu's to run on the 2'nd Installation Of BOINC on that Box, weird why it will run on 1 but not the other. I Detached & reinstalled the Project again in the bad one to see if that helps ...

Looks like I can finally post a new project also here: ;-)
Climate@Home Version 2
High requirements though: 64-Bit OS, VirtualBox, 1024 M RAM for a task and at least 10 GB harddisk space pro task.

It appears that reCAPTCHA is faulty and so I can't create an account. It seems that Climate@Home 2 is a whole new project after Climate@Home. But is being recorded here as the old project.
