As far as I can tell, Penguin got gold, Steve Dodd got bronze and no one else got it. |

Not sure if anybody made it, I only managed 21 Hr's myself... Yeah. I am running kinda GPU-lite right now. And I was slow to realize the new app existed, so I was running a mix at the time. Annoying. Ah well. Reno, NV Team: SETI.USA |

Not sure if manual intervention is required, but there's a new ce11 app from Charity Engine that's been out for a day or two. It's not showing up in my stats. Note: That's "c e one one", not "c e el el". Depending on your font they could look very similar. EDIT: It's an NCI app. 64 bits only. I haven't been able to get it to download work for Linux, but it works fine for Windows. Tasks can run for up to 24 hours. Doesn't use a lot of memory. Want to find one of the largest known primes? I screwed up and thought it as a stand alone Project like Folding so downloaded it and found it installed itself inside my Boinc Manager and now I can't remove it!! It downloaded and installed a slightly different version of Boinc that now has a section above the 'Open Boinc Manager' line that ways 'Open Boinc Web' that goes straight to the Charity Engine site. It also keeps sending me tasks even though I have it suspended and NNT set. I wake up in the morning and the settings have changed to allow new tasks and even though it's still suspended there's a task waiting to run!! I abort the task and another shows up until I set NNT again!!! Even when I hi-lite it the remove Project box is greyed out and I can't delete the thing!! I took a picture of all of my Boinc Projects on this pc and if I can't figure it out soon I will delete Boinc altogether and start over on this pc!!! |

Like I said it's a waste of time, I had the same problems with it & will never install it again, think I had to do a complete system restore one time to get rid of it ... |

I screwed up and thought it as a stand alone Project like Folding so downloaded it and found it installed itself inside my Boinc Manager ... Isn't Charity Engine a kind of account manager like BAM!? If so, then it should be removable like BAM! also. Sorry if I'm wrong here. Life is Science, and Science rules. To the universe and beyond Member of BOINC@Heidelberg My BOINC-Stats |

You can attach the normal BOINC manager to Charity Engine by attaching to http://work.charityengine.com/ (Https won't work; I tried. It has to be http.) There's no standard BOINC website, so you'll have to attach or create an account directly from the BOINC manager on your computer. Want to find one of the largest known primes? Try PrimeGrid. I screwed up and thought it as a stand alone Project like Folding so downloaded it and found it installed itself inside my Boinc Manager ... That got me to remove it WOO HOO!!!! It's not exactly that but I opened the Boinc Manager and in one of the drop down selections was 'stop using charity engine' I clicked it and THEN the greyed out box to Remove the projet thru the usual way lit up and it's gone!!! What a pain in the butt!!! |

This is how I screwed everything up https://www.charityengine.com/ where I created an account and downloaded the software which added it to Boinc Manager. They also send you an email that you MUST respond to so you can't just use any old email, I didn't, or sign up your friend. |

BOINC@TACC project is currently hosted at http://boinc-dev.tacc.utexas.edu/boincserver/ The database of the working project has replaced the database of the dev server, you can log in with your old credentials. Tasks refer to files at old addresses - loading gives a signature mismatch error (RSA key check failed for file) |

New “Wieferich and Wall-Sun-Sun†application tested on CompositeGrid It will probably appear on PrimeGrid soon, which means there will be a new badge for collectors ;) I would like to see the statistics (hours worked) here and at Free-DC |
