I could login in my account and attached my host. Now I'm sitting on a bunch of wus which cannot upload and they will expire tomorrow evening if the database problem isn't solved before. Currently my account isn't there also like Steve's...

I also have a bunch of tasks to return and although the website does come up it's got a bunch of errors and when I try to log-in it says 'no such account'. My tasks will also expire tomorrow.

Until someone fixes the database / storage issues the vdw no one can register, login or up/down load anything.

Then it was up for a bit. I could log in, attach, and got some tasks.

Then it was broken shortly after. Now its back to no account/etc. I don't believe anything ever uploaded either.

Edit: Well it looks like something uploaded. 3,751 credit on Free-DC. Client says I have 4137. Two hosts show credit at 36.93 per task.

I got a message back from the Server at vdwnumbers just now when I clicked to retry the uploads:

That's a better message than the 'can't find server' error message so hopefully someone is working on the problem

I got some units on most of my pc's, I didn't want to go whole hog and get a bazillion tasks and crash the Server just yet and I have other tasks running anyway.

I was able to get in and set up an account.
Later I tried to add a computer as I had gotten my Boinc Manager running after 3 days, it would not let me saying my login was incorrect.

Went to the site and tried to get in but it says login not correct.
Tried to rejoin but it says my e-mail exists but the password was not correct.

Checked with saved passwords and it is correct.

It still wont let me in.

I suppose it is not that important as I don't have a VM set up anyway and it is required by the project.

Looks like they had a maintenance window. I have been able to create an account via the Project site, attach via BOINC as a returning account and down load my first task. I was able to update all my normal project configurations except TEAM which requires a completed WU. So far they have not enabled Profiles.

The task shows 51 minutes but I have a fairly old slow system. We will see in the morning as it is past midnight now.

One they have different from other Boinc projects is requiring a 10 digit password, that's going to be tough for me as I normally use a 9 digit one so I saved in my password saver place. I just hope I remember where I saved it if I need it again.

Yesterday I was able to attach some of my pc's, and get tasks, and even create my Team as well. I was surprised they didn't import the standard Boinc Team list though. Today I am returning tasks and my credits are starting to show up, now I hope wuprop picks them up as well.

However I can now no longer get access to my account, as it wont accept the 9 digit password and it wont send an e-mail so I can change the password to 10 digits (using Forgot Password)

Have you tried making a ne2w account with the same name and a 10 digit password? Right now the project only has 1 task to send out and ALOT of them were cancelled by the Server because they were labelled "didn't need". I'm guessing they over sent tasks to multiple computers and now have too many valid results they just don't need.

It would not be such a problem if the e-mail system worked and it would send me an e-mail to reset my password, but it refuses to send the e-mail, but I can't the project as I can't log in and have no credit.

Any Wu's I get from the KryptosProject are just download error's been that way since yesterday. I did manage though to just get my 100 Hr's in before the download errors started ... :)

i did get Kryptos to run on 1 of my Linux Box's but won't run on the other one. I went thru the same procedure to install V-Box for both of them & their running the same Ubuntu Version 20.0.4. Only difference in them is the one that works has a Intel 3700 & the one that won't run them has a E-5 1620 XEON ...

I don't think it's the Xeon because I have a few Xeons running Kryptos and they work fine, of course they are all running Windows not Linux.
