Since today the application "cgminer (Campaign #3) (for 20+GH/s ASICs)" for "Bitcoin Utopia" is lost in my application list. I'm crunching for this project since several weeks with more than 690 hours until now.

It seems that WUProp@Home has got an update today. Projects with no activity since 30 days are marked now. It is possible that my application was lost while this upgrade?

Odd because:

Collatz Conjecture "Large Collatz Conjecture" is marked, but I am currently gaining hours on it and have been for weeks.

OProject@Home "ALX". "GSCE-SV", "Weird Engine Odd" and climateprediction.net "UK Met Office Coupled Model Full Resolution Ocean" have been down for several months and are not marked.

I also have a current project that am presently doing work for:
iGEM@home Modelling Linker structures for the circularization of proteins [Inactive for 30 days or more] 466.02 2.58

I have been doing the project less than 3 weeks... something is wrong with these "inactive" flags.
I am concerned because I see that many Applications have disappeared completely from the record and I'm afraid these wrongly tagged applications will also disappear before the issue is corrected.

I think it may be a case of a bogged down server catching up on work. I have 3 stars now and according to my statistics I am 2 apps short of 3 stars. I'm not sure where the other 2 apps came from-- they aren't listed in my statistics, but obviously the server is counting them somewhere. I do have missing entries for yoyo - OWS and a couple of others.

I usually copy the statistics page from my account and paste it into a Word document every once in a while to keep track of my statistics in case something goes wrong.

I returned a climateprediction.net "UK Met Office Coupled Model Full Resolution Ocean" on Sept 1st so that app still has active work (if only barely).

My applicarions are back in the list now.

SubsetSum is going to be revived. The admin has several projects and is merging them into a single feeder, but keeping the projects separated on their own. He already has some of the work done and has plans to have this one back in the upcoming months.

I still think SETI@home Enhanced should show as finished. It's the old version of SETI@home v7. All the work was finished up earlier this year and no new work will be created.

All Pirates@Home applications have a chance to always come back. The project is just a play around for the owner. He pops some in usually 3-4 times a year.

Yes but it will be under the Project header of Citizen Science Grid not the Project header SubsetSum.
The Application will still be SubsetSum but your hours will total against the new Project header.

Just like DNA has been doing, another of the Citizen Science Grid projects.

Not necessarily. The admin says the newer versions of the BOINC backend can keep each project separately named. He is working on that part, so there may be another change when he gets it all figured out. After that, they all should probably be merged anyway, as they are the same program under the same Admin/operators.

Albert@Home -- Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo), currently marked as inactive but is also an active application as I am running it now.

But even if some are marked as not active in the last 30 days, such as Malaria -- openmalaria xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx(Branch B), a number of Mindmodeling apps, climateprediction.net apps and Volpex, they could easily restart again and so will then be marked as active.

It is a useful guide and helpful in seeing where you might want to focus your resources.
You can always check a project to see if the application you want to run and maybe marked as inactive on WUProp could actually be running, you can do your own research.
This is a guide and I will use it as such.
Being inactive for 30 days does not mean the project or it's application is dead, though a number of course will be.

I have also a problem with the app "CudaMiner (Campaign #4)" from Bitcoin Utopia.
I'm receiving these wu's in the app "ccminer (Campaign #4)" which is marked as inactive.

The app "ccminer (Campaign #4)" must be renamed to "CudaMiner (Campaign #4)" and marked active.
