I think this new indicator is a cool idea, but would it be possible to give the user the option to hide the inactive apps as well? Especially if the project or sub project is dead or discontinued...

Hide the projects themselves? Then your counts for the stars will not look correct. I have several that are sunset but have enough points to be counted towards the star and with the split list of every 20, people would be confused if they see a star but do not have enough on the list to look correct.

I would prefer if they were in a different color. The Red X really does not look appealing. It makes it look like you've done something wrong. Make them a color that is not used for badges. Then a key at the bottom as to why they are colored differently.

I like having the indicator for old abandoned apps, but I also don't like the current indicator that is being used. The red X makes it look like I need to delete the entry.

I agree with Pooh Bear, I don't think hiding the apps in the list would be a good idea.

I like the Red X too, but right now it's showing for this App >>> Universe@Home Universe_simulator when in fact I have been & am still getting work for this App from the Project ???

As far as I'm concerned the Red X can stay, it stand out real nice ...

EDIT: Okay now the Red X Indicator is gone for the above App ...

That was my first thought and I actually almost immediately tried to click on it to test what it would do. :-)

I think so too, but how about only making the app field text red (plus the mouse popup explaining why it is red like it already does).
Another colour would be hard to refer to that the app isn't available atm.
For example I have an Excel list with projects and apps myself and when one is gone I also make it red.

What size Monitor are you guys using ? 12" ... :P ... You make it sound like the Red X is taking up half your screen space, on my 21" Monitor it's barely noticeable ...

I wasn't suggesting remove the apps but rather for me to be able to hide them from my view so that it is easier for me to track the active projects/apps. By all means keep the past apps in the rankings. I just wanted an easier way of filtering things.
