It would be nice if the Pending Hr's Feature was kept IMO, it makes it hard to find what your running & if your getting hr's or not ...

Something like the way Bok on his Free-DC web site displays the hours against each application.

As each WUProp task reports it also updates all your application totals with the hours they have earned.
It is the new feature but you can't immediately see which application has been granted hours on the WUProp website.

So I also use Bok's Free-DC site to see what has updated.

Another option is to convert the pending hours column to show the hours earned in the last 24 hours, this way we all can see which projects applications have been generating work.

Looks like the "Pending" column is now "Last Day" hours... thanks to Admin for this feature upgrade!

The ARM App needs updating. It was still showing Pending, but does not show the last 24 hours.

Maybe another column could be added to show pending as well? Would be nice to know in one look how much I have, how much I get per day and how much I have in progress.

I agree, I liked the Pending Column to let me know if I had enough Pending to reach the next Level. Now I just have to run more to insure I reach the next level thus wasting time ...

I agree too, but if it doesn't work properly it's as counter productive as it is useful, and knowing what was actually crunched over the last 24h is a fair indicator of what's being crunched.
As well as the app problems I suspect there might have been back-end/management issues.

Unless I am misunderstanding Sebastien, there are no pending hours anymore on the newer versions. The most recent releases of WUProp count the hours accumulated for each application during the WUProp task and immediately add them to the Running hours column. It does not appear to wait until an application has completed to add the hours.

To test this, yesterday I started an application (WCG CEP2) that I had not run for months. It had 1,016.45 hours prior to me starting it yesterday. I limited it to one core so it would be easy to monitor the hours. The first task was still in progress at just over 4 hours when WUProp finished and reported. When checking my account here on WUProp, that application showed 1,020.49 hours in the Running hours and 4.04 in the Last day columns even though the CEP2 task had not finished.

That's the idea; it does not wait for the WU to finish, which is a good thing IMO as it removes the possibility of you not being credited later - which sometimes happened with the Pending hours.

When you say not being credited later, I take it as you mean that the task could fail and not credit you?

Yes, it's been a repeating issue.

Thanks for testing, and now that I know a bit more how it works I see how it is similar in effect. I really enjoy the account page on this project, it's well organized and one can see a lot of information very quickly.

The one feature I would like to see is how much pending work I have cached across all machines. I would think if wuprop can avg deadlines and compute times then it could add my avg compute time and multiply by # of workunits. This would all be compiled from all machines of course so one could see total # of hours currently in queue for each particular subproject. Something you can't find anywhere else and although it sounds basic and I could calculate myself, its not easy to do across many machines in many locations with many different crunch speeds on many different subprojects.

Again, I really appreciate this project. I'm glad its actively developed and being discussed, I hope my input can be helpful.
