Almost all my Android smartphones are crapping out. They download Version 4 4.20 but the WUs are stuck at 0% and they run forever.

I've reinstalled nativeBOINC but that's made no difference.

They were all working fine and now they are not. It seems to have happened since or when the app was changed last month. None of my tablets are affected.

So I'm losing 168 hours a day, pretty bummed.

Try downloading only version 5. On my Android devices I have only version 5 WUs.

Interesting suggestion.

How do I do that? There isn't a choice in the preferences.

My first two WU's came up invalid. Any help? (1 x pie, 1 x Non pie V5 WU's)

Would nativeBOINC be any better?

Mmmmh I noticed that is not possible to choose the WuProp version in the settings, so just let BOINC run and see if the server decides what version your devices need.

Any admins about? WU prop is sending both pie & non pie WU's but both fail to validate. Is there anything else to try?

Could rooting my phone help?

I have my phone set to 70% CPU limit to cut down on some heat as i'm using 5 cores to crunch WCG. Could this be the problem? Maybe the phones running out of memory? which in turn corrupts WU prop tasks?(phone has 3GB)
Also the WU's are constantly running then suspending. I guess this is because when the CPU gets to 70% it suspends for a tick then restarts. Or is this a sign of some other problem?

Would be strange though as other projects running along side WUprop(POGS & WCG) are running and validating just fine.

I'm having an issue that whenever my phone is unplugged (I have it set to run only when plugged in), the WU Prop workunits restart from zero. Is this standard function? Manually suspending before unplugging does not help. Doesn't matter if 3% done or 99% done, they go back to 0%. I assume I'm losing credit due to this effect.

Why is it impossible to see the activity of Android devices? I have a Nexus 7 2013 Wi-Fi (6k points), LG G4 H815 (1k points), LG G4s H735 (200 points), Samsung Galaxy S3 (1k points), Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini (500 points), and other ones. Please let me know why I can't see what they have run.

I can see my devices that I added a long time ago. More recent ones are acting coy.

I can only see the activity on one of the four Android devices I have running. One of them was added last August and has 76k points and is not showing up. The only one that does show up is an old phone that my wife gave me with Android 2.6 running Native Boinc that's been running a couple of weeks. No big deal as the hours are being added correctly.

Not me, but I see Some Hosts, usually running Android 5.0+, get no-pie even though it inevitably errors out, but pie runs...
