I have a problem with WUProp on 2 Android smartphones (Data collect version 5 v5.07 (android_arm_pie)) : tasks seem to work fine but don't count WUs calculated on projects (no WUProp points, either) Example: https://wuprop.boinc-af.org//result.php?resultid=114371813 Stderr output The 2 smartphones : https://wuprop.boinc-af.org//show_host_detail.php?hostid=181170 https://wuprop.boinc-af.org//show_host_detail.php?hostid=229322 The last Android version 7.18.1 : https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php |

looks like it started on the day the second phone was installed. Have you given the phones separate identities which is something you can do in the latest version of Boinc? Pete

Yes, I give different name (Nokia 8 and Nokia 5.4) and they appear on different ID in my devices. Maybe the space in the name of each device make confusion !? I'll try to change in Nokia_8 and Nokia_5.4... |

It's a KNOWN PROBLEM and has not been addressed by anyone since I first reported it, see my post in the forum: * WuPeop errors / invalid tasks since install ANDROID BOINC V 7.18.0

It had been working on mine, but started failing yesterday or today. I've gotten zero hours for my four Android Fire Tablets suddenly. |

It had been working on mine, but started failing yesterday or today. I've gotten zero hours for my four Android Fire Tablets suddenly. I had 3 each for total of 6 tasks on 2 different Android devices fail in last 24 hours. * Interesting to see they all were of a new version "Data collect version 5 v5.10 (android_arm_pie" and I couldn't find any of these tasks validations for anyone else. Since then there's another new version v5.11 I received almost 6 hours ago on both my phones. Will check stats on them after returning in next 30 minutes or so and post back.

Both v5.11 tasks I received on my Android phones have failed. Sending message to project owner to see this thread. We deserve the points AND the wasted hours added to our account. For me it's 4 tasks running 3 threads of 6 hours each tasks (4*3*6) == 72 HOURS WASTED so far. IT'S NOT OUR FAULT THE PROJECT OWNER CAN'T MAKE A WORKING VERSION.

You are owned nothing but what's offered. Bugs happen. 72 hours wasted? What were you computing for? Changing the color of a star on one of your badges? I see your badges alright alright, but is it for sciences or for badges that you're crunching? Pathetic... Remember the main goal of BOINC. |

I am unable to download Tasks to my two 7.18.1 androids. When the project is loaded the phone pulls down the master file and requests a WU but never gets one even though the Project shows android tasks available. Both phones worked with WUProp prior to the restart and both have had the project removed and reinstalled Suggestions ? So no Android tasks available yet. Don't know when they will be. |

You should enable remote control. Yes assuming that you have WuProp loaded and your Android App configured correctly it might work just as advertised. |
