I am getting this on at least 2 maybe 3 computers (one is not on site and has no tasks). Could be due to the new work units only being initially 5 minutes then 1 hour long, before break they ran for 6 hours, but not sure. Conan |

I'm getting it on all my computers, or will be soon. The problem is that the tasks have switched from 6 hour durations to shorter periods (as short as 5 minutes), so instead of running 4 tasks per day it's running LOTS. I was noticing on one of my Androids that the server is telling the client to back off for 7 seconds. I don't think I ever seen less than a minute. Maybe somebody mixed up seconds for minutes? Irregardless, that's a lot of activity on the server with all these Android devices attempting to reconnect every 10 seconds or so. |

Yes I believe that was one of the reasons that Sebastien went to 6 hour work units to stop the hammering on the server when they were 1 hour, many years ago. Don't know the reason about the short back off though, I have been seeing it on mine as well but they have all now gotten work units. Conan |

I agree, I have set my Androids to No New Work to prevent that. I check in from time to time to see if there's work for Androids. |
