when you can't get a WU for some BS reason ...The reason are likely all those validate errors. This computer has been banned until 18 Jan 2025, 10:14:25 UTC.

I know that but why did it have Validation errors ? never had any before that I know of ...The usual reason is running out of work from other projects.

That's possible as I had several box's run out of work from a project i was running. I think a notice should be sent to you of impending Wu stoppage before just shutting you off. What does this mean and what causes it? It occurs to each of my computers randomly for no reason I can see. They have continuous work. What does this mean and what causes it? It occurs to each of my computers randomly for no reason I can see. They have continuous work. Had the same thing happen to a Linux box 6 or more hours ago. Only way to get new work was to stop/exit BOINC and reboot restarting BOINC.

Had SAME THING happen AGAIN several hour later on SAME LINUX PC.- Task 225068780. AGAIN, Only way to get new work was to stop/exit BOINC and reboot restarting BOINC. STRANGE HOW THIS ERROR ONLY APPEARS TO AFFECT LINUX PC's AND NOT WINDOWS OR ANDROID DEVICES. |

That is not the same thing as the title of this thread. Just reset the project. |
