I want to change my team info. On the team-edit page on top it says team info will be automatically updated as it is a boinc-wide team. Unfortunately it does not update at all. Waited for several days now.

Also manually I cannot change it, as there is no save button.

So how can I change my team info? Does anybody know that?

I am a founder of my team 'Cobar Spiders' and when I go to the Administer and then "edit team info", I can get in and change anything I need.

But I too just found that nothing saves and that Country cannot be selected even.

When I click on the link to my BOINC-wide team account page then everything is available to change and be updated.

WARNING: this is a BOINC-wide team. If you make changes here, they will soon be overwritten. Edit the BOINC-wide team instead.

(the part saying 'BOINC-wide team' is a link.)

So go to the BOINC-wide team link and you should be able to change everything.

When WUProp next does a team import/update then things should change on your account here at the project.

Yes exactly, that's how it works. It worked for all other projects but not for this one. I already changed everything boinc-wide (using the link as you described it) but here for wuprop it does not get adopted.

That's exactly my problem.

(I already changed my team info lots of times over the many years I take part in Boinc)

Maybe someone knows how I can contact somebody from the wuprop staff.

I think it cannot be that hard to get the 'save' button back on the website (as adopting the boinc-wide teaminfo does obviously not work)

Oh it's even worse as I just see.

Now it created a new team here with the info from the boinc-wide team and says I'm no longer member of the original team!

This really sucks!! I never experienced this over the years.

Ok alright I see. Thanks for this hint. I will try it and just have sent him a message. Let's see if he can help.

btw.: may be confusing that I comment here with two different users. But as this try to update my team info created another team instead of updating the original one, I also had to create another account to manage both teams now. That sucks -.-
