I'm guessing the 3:00 PM you are mentioning would be local time in France? Which would be CEST (UTC+2), so 13:00 UTC. |

But i'm having trouble reconnecting to WUProp from one of my Windows machines :( 8/10/2024 3:30:05 PM | | Fetching configuration file from https://wuprop.boinc-af.org/get_project_config.php 8/10/2024 3:30:13 PM | | Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site 8/10/2024 3:30:15 PM | | Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down. But seems to be working fine from my LINUX machines (at least they're getting new WUs) |

Have you tried to Exit and Restart BOINC to see if it works? |

Well, that was painful. Suspended all work, restarted BOINC manager, changed Wi-fi from 5GHz to 2.4GHz band. FINALLY, got project added again. Thanks for not letting me give up Dr. Who Fan and giving me something else to try. |

Glad it worked for you. I will have similar problems once in a blue moon especially on Android 11 & newer phones. A website or app suddenly won't load on 5 Ghz WiFi, but if I disconnect & reconnect the phone forcing 2.4 Ghz connection all is ok or rebooting the router will fix it. * I have not been able to figure the root cause of it other than possible it's something with my router acting up. |

Since the server upgrade I can't get WUs for my Android device, the server thinks it has not enough disk space: 11/08/2024 11:17:09 | | General prefs: from http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ (last modified 19-Jun-2021 17:52:25) 11/08/2024 11:17:09 | | Host location: none 11/08/2024 11:17:09 | | General prefs: using your defaults 11/08/2024 11:17:09 | | Reading preferences override file 11/08/2024 11:17:09 | | Preferences: 11/08/2024 11:17:09 | | max memory usage when active: 272.09MB 11/08/2024 11:17:09 | | max memory usage when idle: 272.09MB 11/08/2024 11:17:09 | | max disk usage: 0.30GB 11/08/2024 11:17:09 | | (to change preferences, visit the web site of an attached project, or select Preferences in the Manager) 11/08/2024 11:17:14 | WUProp@Home | update requested by user 11/08/2024 11:17:16 | WUProp@Home | Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. 11/08/2024 11:17:16 | WUProp@Home | Requesting new tasks for CPU 11/08/2024 11:17:19 | WUProp@Home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 11/08/2024 11:17:19 | WUProp@Home | No tasks sent 11/08/2024 11:17:19 | WUProp@Home | Message from server: Data collect version 4 needs 95.37MB more disk space. You may want to check the preference settings on the device. There are two things to look at: Max storage % and Min storage in GB. |

i couldn't get any of my local devices too connect because of TLS/SSL error, boinc-clients as well as various browsers, on android, linux and windows10/11 either something got fixed at approx 0815UTC this morning, or whatever was cached (certificate? DNS?) timed out and it's working again |

You may want to check the preference settings on the device. There's nothing wrong with the settings, they have not been changed in years on that device. According to the BOINC client, "free, available to BOINC" are currently 278.84MB, the new WUprop server claims 0.00MB available to BOINC. Einstein works still fine, it wouldn't send me any work if it was seeing 0.00MB available to BOINC. So the error must be on the new WUprop server. . |

now all my local devices are working fine, 100% of my cloud instances are stuck in uploading i guess there'll be a random timeout until they start working again |

I see the required disk space has been adjusted to some more reasonable value, but that does not really change anything as long as the server thinks there's not one single byte available to BOINC: 12/08/2024 09:36:27 | WUProp@Home | Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. 12/08/2024 09:36:27 | WUProp@Home | Requesting new tasks for CPU 12/08/2024 09:36:29 | WUProp@Home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 12/08/2024 09:36:29 | WUProp@Home | No tasks sent 12/08/2024 09:36:29 | WUProp@Home | Message from server: Data collect version 4 needs 9.54MB more disk space. You currently have 0.00 MB available and it needs 9.54 MB. There's clearly some bug in there, even on the host's details page the available space is displayed correctly and obviously way above the required 9.54 MB. . |

The way the application hours are displayed in my account has changed. Also the check box option to hide inactive applications does not work. |

the issue with my cloud instances is that my weak key had changed which was a pain to discover and fix all sorted now my issues aside, the new version of the server seems to be working well |

Link, According to your post several back BOINC is only allowed to use... 11/08/2024 11:17:09 | | max disk usage: 0.30GB and it's probably being used up by the other BOINC projects and other apps on the device. 1) How much storage space does this device have in total? 2) How much storage space does BOINC report in use when it starts? 3) Any way to increase the max disk usage to something larger to see if WuProp will run? |
